You paid Watt Wagons for a bike to be shipped to a timeline - they haven't held up their end of the deal. They'd be out of line to penalise you for walking away.

Yes - to be clear, it was for a suspension upgrade due to a parts shortage, which I was led to believe was the current hold-up. I was asked to pay for the upgrade to avoid further delay. I paid after being told the bike would otherwise ship in 2 weeks... 2 weeks after the previous committed ship...

@pushkar, this was 2+ weeks ago. Am I correct in thinking that there was no update (I didn't see one), and the bikes haven't shipped? Where are our bikes, what's the hold up this time, and why do we need to keep chasing you like this for the scarcest details after you break yet more comments...

Unfortunately I've seen no update either. Yet another deadline sails by with no communication.

In that case, let's hope the part is universal/adaptable, but given the huge difference in the material/profile of the rear triangle in each bike, that feels a touch optimistic.

Not sure which bike you have, but Pushkar has announced a belt tensioner for the Hydra, so it may be possible in future.

Totally agree - the switch to a deposit model is certainly an encouraging one - and while it's unfortunately a greater risk to Pushkar and the team, I think it does a lot to address jitters and bad blood as delays arise with the JIT fulfilment model.
