Yes, Ravi ... I understand. But I was hoping to continue using the Dynamo hub to power a brighter light. My NeoVolt has an OEM light, but it's not very strong.
Thanks for the video, Peter. Are you using a GoPro? I'm itching for one, but had hoped to wait for the GoPro4. (But I hear it's been pushed until March 2015... :( )
I've noticed that the power-assist during the last bar is not as "strong" as the first few bars. Is this true, or am I just imagining things due to lactic acid build-up? LOL
Does anyone have experience with the TOPEAK RIDE-UP STAND ?

I'm looking for something that would work with the EasyMotion Neo Volt. Because I have a Thudbuster on my Volt, I don't have enough "empty seatpost space" for a workshop...
Thanks for the input, EddieJ. Do you remember snagging it on something, or was it just an unlucky manufacturer's defect? I think mine is just the Control Panel. I had a spare panel, and the spare works without issue.
Recently experienced the "Error 13" at the end of a 40km ride with one bar (less than 20%) left on the battery. The manual indicates that "Error 13" is a COMMUNICATION issue ... and suggests removing and reseating the Control Panel. This didn't seem to work for me.
I found this short video on...
Sticking my nose in, even though unrelated ... the FRONT axle bolt on the Neo Volt is M9 ... (even labeled as such on the acorn nut). Just sharing this in case anyone is buying (Pinhead) locks. The REAR is bigger, but I did not remove it to check the size.
I have the FOLDING Easy Motion Neo Volt, but they also making the NON-folding PROX. With the Thudbuster, my Neo Volt is nearly perfect. Here's a thread I made about installing the Thudbuster on my Volt. I'm just trying to find a suitable basket for it now. I'm also in Canada ... check out...
Pictured here with THUDBSTER LT and THUDGLOVE, MIRRYCLE, MEC RACKPACK 2 RT. (I'm trying to find a suitable basket, though.)
(Sorry for the filesize... first time attaching an image ... ) [edit by Court: no worries! I've resized it, thanks for sharing ;)]
I have a Neo Volt with 20" wheels. I've set the console accordingly (Hold + and - together), then confirm set to 20, but I'm questioning the accuracy of the odometer. My odometer readings don't seem to match the distances calculated for the same route using Google Maps. I may have...
Ravi ...
I removed both of the screws (as in the video) and expected the silver stop to wiggle out. It seemed to be wedged between the frame quite tight. Maybe some of the frame paint "sealed" it in place. I chose to be cautious, and did NOT try to tap it out (even gently) with a...
In case there are any interested SHORT Neo Volt owners thinking about getting a Thudbuster ... If you're tall, then this will NOT work for you.
NEO VOLT seatpost is 31.6mm x 580mm.
Thudbuster LT Suspension Seatpost, ST3272KXL (450mm seatpost, 27.2mm)
Custom Seat Tube Shim, ST27316 (27.2mm...
Yes, I think you're right ... but not sure if it is a metal washer or rubber. I also unsuccessfully tried to rotate the silver bar at 1:33, but it seems wedged in tight, so I didn't force it. I may have to McGuyver a washer or strip (of 2.2mm thickness) around the silver bar. Open to any...
I'm thinking that I may need to adjust the "clearance" when installing my Thudbuster (27.2mm) into the 31.6mm seatpost tube of the Neo Volt. Can anyone figure out what the tech is doing starting at about 0:24 of this video?
The EasyMotion Neo Volt has Kenda 20 x 1.75 Tires with Anti-Puncture Relex ... Does anyone know what "Anti-Puncture Relex" is? Is it adequate prevention, or would something like Rhino Dillos be better?
Here's the link to register online ... (top right corner of this page) http://www.emotionbikesusa.com/warranty
But to clarify... the battery warranty remains at 2 years ... Does NOT increase to 5 years.
Thanks, Ravi. Those were my initial ideas, but decided to get Pinheads for the seatpost and the front wheel. This way I only need to lock the frame and rear wheel. (I'm primarily using the Neo Volt for recreation and errands... so only leaving it unattended for short periods of time). I...
