This is only not supported in Europe. The issue is that the display doesn’t display the speed in certain screens and this is illegal in Europe due to special regulations on speed bikes.

There is little to no resistance in Gen 3 and Gen 4 motors.

To be clear, this resistance from the reduction gear is only present on the Gen 2 motors. Gen 3 and 4 don’t have a reduction gear.

That’s the 2nd Gen motor. The CX motor wasn’t made in a Gen 3, they went right to Gen 4.

This is not an option at the dealer level at the moment, but it might change in the near future. To my understanding Bosch is working on making this available.
