    Hi! The display is set to 48v system. There're two other options. 52v (if I remember correctly). And a User Defined Value. But there's nowhere to edit that. Not even on the advanced setting.

    I meant when they balance the batteries when they are new. They hook them up and let them sit for a while without charging, just sitting there. I was wondering if the e-bike batteries were also connected similarly inside, or does the BMS need to be ON to balance the cells.

    I have it on display Voltage.. and it reads 53.9-54.0 It's quitting on 50v.

    Thanks for the quick reply! The first time I did not have a multimeter, so I can't say for sure. I'm checking it right now and it still shows 54.0 volts. So no change since 2 pm. So I'm disconnecting it and following Thomas' recommendations. This would be the third time I charge the battery...
