    New Tires for Juiced CCS2

I really don't get why people don't like the stock kenda tires. I put ~3500 miles on the stock rear tire before it needed replacement, and my original front is over 6500 miles and looks good for at least another 4-5000. They roll well, have great traction both dry and wet, and seem to have great...

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

    Here's the one I have. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AO3HO2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

So this problem is far from unique to Juiced. You can search and find this complaint in many ebikes with single chainrings. Its a problem found on many bikes with a single front chainring that has no derailleur. The MTB community recognized this a while back as 1X drivetrains became popular. The...

Mount Juiced Horn on RipCurrent S. Where?

Is this an integrated horn that plugs into the stock wiring on a CCS? My CCS came with a bell. I'd love a horn to get cars attention. As for the RCS you could always get a longer stem to give you space for the mount.

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Seems like corporate CYA language. I've ridden many times in the rain without any hint of an issue. Love the fenders when it happens.

    Aftermarket pannier rack for CCS

So I have big feet (my bike shoes are size 47) and had trouble with heel strikes. I was able to adjust the stock juiced rack to make plenty of clearance. I pushed the top mount bracket to the frame all the way forward, pushing the rack back. This also required me to raise the height adjustment...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

So that link is just a pair of front and rear fender stays. FWIW, I had the notorious front fender rattle but I was able to fix it. Disconnect the stays from the fender and put a slight outward bend on each one (gentle curve of about 10 degrees, so that the stay would be ~ 4 cm away from the...

Has anyone gone from the 48v 12.8ah to the 52v 19.2ah on the CCS?

Timpo, I saved this chart a while ago and it's been a great reference. Also FWIW, the voltage on my display is generally lower than what my Satiator charger shows. (Ie. if I finish a ride and am stopped my controller might show ~48.5 V, but when I plug the battery in to charge Satiator would...

    52V CCX / RCS - Will generic 48V "Dorado +" battery work?

I am not looking for more power so much as more speed. So this actually does not solve the top speed problem. As these bikes near the top assisted speed you will see the real time watts drop down steadily until about 28 watts at the point the motor is no longer assisting you. The top speed is...

    52V CCX / RCS - Will generic 48V "Dorado +" battery work?

I am curious if anyone has experience/ or knows, the max voltage battery that a Juiced CCS can safely handle???? I love my 52V battery, especially when its at higher voltage state. I usually only charge to 80%, and I don't like how the performance of the bike drops when the pack reaches <47V...

    Mid drive vs hub?

So to clarify my wear and tear issues, replaced both front and rear brake pads at ~3900 miles, replaced rear tire at ~3500 miles, replaced chain at ~5000 miles. Motor remains strong and trouble free. I inspected chainring and cassette when doing the chain, expecting to need to replace, both...

CCX Rear Tail Light Real Finicky???

I had a similar problem with my original CCS taillight. I changed batteries, and no avail. I put in a service ticket to Juiced and they sent me a new one. No issues with it in over 5000 miles.

The best chain cleaning process ever

So I never remove my chain to clean it. I wipe it with a clean shop rag while back pedaling about once a week. I lubricate at least 1-2 times per week. The first chain on my Juiced CCS went just under 5000 miles. I think many people go way overboard on this.

    28 mph is FAST!

So Juiced uses the same industry standard for water resistance for electronics that nearly all ebike makers use. Also, I have no idea where he got the idea that Juiced 52V Juiced uses the same standard for electronic water resistance as the rest of the ebike world, and I haven't seen any...

My first commute on my new CCX, real world range of a heavy rider

So the easiest fix for the rear taillight is to take it off and flip it upside down. This actually solves 2 problems. The power button is more accessible, and you can see the tab that locks the light to the mount so that you can use a small flathead screwdriver to easily pop it off and replace...

    28 mph is FAST!

Speed is a very relative thing. Experience and rider style have a big impact on what is defined as a comfortable speed. There are obvious risks associated with higher speeds, but I think many people overlook some of the actual safety improvements. The biggest are traveling closer to the speed of...

    To "Juice" or not ?

FWIW, I commute on my CCS with the 52V battery. My commute is 30 miles each way. Speed typically averages around 23 mph for the entire commute, and I am generally cruising at 28-30 mph, and yes you can maintain 28 mph on flats, the assist level required will depend on your own effort and wind...

    CCX Spoke Replacement Instructions/Tips

Initially, I checked/ tightened every couple of weeks. Now it's maybe once a month or so. During break in it seemed loose spokes were far more common than now. Front always stayed tighter than rear, I have very rarely needed any adjustment to the front. Rear definitely needs regular maintenance.

buying a new fat bike - questions and suggestions

So there are a few benefits to 52V battery over the 48V. There is more power and more top speed with the 52V battery, but honestly that shouldn't be the reason for your decision. Its actually as the battery gets discharged where this becomes more important. As the voltage in the pack drops...
