That's pretty good with hills. Where I'm at it's flat but with winds to keep you company. The only ferry around here is a hand-pulled ferry that crosses the border with Mexico.

Hi everyone, with me at 230 lbs my Como 4 was able to get 42 miles on one charge (6% remaining). I wondering what others are getting. Chime in

LBS is unable to update firmware on Vado 4.0 (solved)

Well, I had no choice in the matter. The LBS tech couldn't figure out how to set it for class 3. Their software said that the firmware was up to date with no indication on how to unlock Class 3 mode. I'm sure that once they contact Specialized they will get the info they need to finish the job.

LBS is unable to update firmware on Vado 4.0 (solved)

Well before the update, it would assist until 15.5 mph. Now, I feel it cutting out at 20 mph.

LBS is unable to update firmware on Vado 4.0 (solved)

The LBS found out that they can use the TCD unit to do the update with its micro USB port on it. They got it to a Class 2 setting but couldn't figure out how to set it for Class 3. They plan to contact Specialized for info and get back to me. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the zippier...

LBS is unable to update firmware on Vado 4.0 (solved)

I’ll keep that in mind if I’m around when they are looking at it but right now that turbo tech is hard to get a hold of.

LBS is unable to update firmware on Vado 4.0 (solved)

Seems like I am having the same issue with my Como 4. Took my bike to LBS for a firmware update but they ran into a wall where it refused to update. They are trying to contact this Turbo Tech but he hasn't responded yet. Rode the bike home and will wait for them to figure it out. I already blew...

What are your city bike racks like?

Our library has something similar but larger. I should get a picture of it.

What are your city bike racks like?

I don't know about that. Our Home Depot is hopping with people coming and going. I think a bike(s) would get in the way of the foot traffic but I'll be happy for a secure place to lock up.

What are your city bike racks like?

I got the local grocery store (H-E-B) to agree to install a bike rack. Target has one but it is no where near the front of store. The local library also has them but they took the Target practice and put it far from the entrance. I need to work on Home Depot.

    Como 4.0 first ride thoughts

For today's ride, I lowered the tire pressure on the front wheel down to 30 psi to see if that helps with the sore hands. I also bought some new cycling gloves and rode with them. After another 11 mile jaunt, I had no hand issues so I'm happy with the results. I did start hearing a squeak from...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I checked online and I can't order a frame lock. Bummer. May have to go this route. Maybe a Bordo twin pack. NVM, it's called Shield. I ended up ordering the Pro Shield 5950 NR BK. I know I’ll need the frame mounting kit for this bike.
