    .....

Look good yeh. Otherwise, heavy, heavy heavy. Less efficent. EXPENSIVE!! Oh and if it malfunctions, no LBS is gonna work on it. You're shipping the wheel back to the maker for service.

21700-cell batteries from BMZ or Panasonic

That looks like new tech, not something that's going to filter down to Ebikes YET. Probably at least a couple of years away if not more. Extremely doubtful that any of the big manufacturers will make them retro to older bikes when they can make you buy a brand new bike to get the new wonder...

First Flat on my Fat Tire :( What is best?

On many bikes you can get the tube out without dismounting the wheel. You just need the bead on one side loosened to pull it out that side. There's video on that too.

Brose compared to Bosch, Yamaha and STEPS

Brose's mid drive is rated at 90nm of torque. If I'm not mistaken, that's the strongest name brand mid drive out there.

Readme: "For Sale" Guidelines and FAQ

You can't delete (at least I can't find) the original post. Nor can I find a way to change the TITLE. I can delete other responses I've posted, but the "delete" choice is not there on the original post under editing.

Try Felt and Specialized. Any comment on Stromer...?

Stromer is a very good bike, very strong performance. Almost more on the moped end of the scale versus most ebikes. Super stiff and well built. Super stiff ride too. Probably a superb city commuter, I found others more pleasing to ME, more "bike like" in the performance area.

    New Tesla ebike battery option

That's crazy talk. I've had them for 4 years now and wouldn't give a minute back. Wait a year? No way!

    Solution for bike-to-bike communication?

LOL, walking a fine line there bud, but you're absolutely right. One of the wonderful things about biking or other self propelled devices is the quiet and solitude you frequently get. I think that's one of the unrecognized fringe benefits of riding that always results in my feeling better...

My Falco 750 W HX motor kit

Interesting. But disappointing. Did you do it on Falco's advise? or for more performance? Mine is offroad enabled, which was a extra purchase option, assist cuts out at 28mph, throttle included. Falco ought to make 500w purchasers a nice "upgrade" deal to the much stronger 750 or 1,000. I...

I will ship it if you make all the arrangements. It came in a huge box that I don't have.

    Budnitz Ebike

The heat doesn't affect the batteries much, it's the controller that's the issue. Controller exposed to the motors heat WILL be affected and out put reduced to deal with said heat. Add in the short range from the necessarily small battery pack and it seems to be a discovered reality that "all...

    Budnitz Ebike

To some of us that is the problem. Not enough space to have 'decent' battery capacity and the extra rotating mass doesn't make any sense compared to the battery being external and not rotating. Extra mass impacting potholes and such amplifying the heavy wheel effect.

    Great places to ride

Sounds nice! I really like historical places, so that would be really neat to me. I know NY has some gorgeous places. (Finger lakes?)

    Great places to ride

Brose compared to Bosch, Yamaha and STEPS

I've read of more Brose problems than I have Bosch problems and there's probably about a 1,000/1 in use ratio so I think it's a little more specific than that.
