I don't get Pedego more than any Ebike. Just fancy colors, tarted up Chinese E bikes, but priced like they're full suspension and top quality components. Sometimes look kind of neat/funky, but comparetively basic.
Reminds me of the stromer I had. Also bomb proof looking like that Hai. But also rode STIFF as he**, as I bet that would. Needs some short travel suspension. (JMO)
"After 300 km a new motor was needed. Chain came off, bolts were loose."
2 cracked motors and a cracked rear rim at each spoke. What are you doing with this bike?
Or is the dealer really that bad that they can't set a bike up?
"One dangerous situation that happens with electric bikes is that motorists will often grossly underestimate your speed. I have lost count of the number of times I have made eye contact with a car who immediately pulled in front of me, in spite of my moving along at 30+ kph. One more reason for...
I ride 2,000 miles a year usually. not a lot compared to some people but more than a weekend crusier. I don't think very many people are prepared for a problem at 30mph as it's not a controlled situation. The tires and brakes become very sketchy at high speeds regardless of the quality. What...
I'd assumed it was sprockets, but didn't know it was THAT fast.
I suspect your weight and the dongle and you must be gnashing some nasty shifts?
Argument #2 against dongles. ;)
If you get past the initial umbrage at them charging more for an E bike, it makes perfectly logical sense as he explains it. I would never agree with a premise that we do more damage, but I certainly agree we cover more miles.
Running the low end of the air pressure for any given tire makes a BIG difference. It increases drag a bit so normal bikers don't like to do it, but with E assist, it's a no brainer.
2.0 is a wide tire, it it says 60-100 psi run it at 55 or 60 and the difference versus 100 is almost like...
When it's hot out, there's next to no way to drink enough from a water bottle if its not easily accessible.
A drinking tube to a bladder has me drinking more than twice as much water versus bottle. You just start to suck on it much more regularly when it's right there hanging over your...
You can always add a body float or thudbuster seat suspension for a lot less. For me the rear suspension lets me ride a lot further before my bum hurts too much to keep going.
What kind of riding do you do? Suspension is awfully nice if you're riding hard but awfully expensive. I wouldn't go back to a hardtail after having it, but I'm older.
Here (US) 500 off of 4995 would not be a good deal but more like what you would expect normally with a better deal to be had...
