Wow, can't believe this is still going on. My advise..since your asking..don't even test ride a Pedego. Their horrible, cheap, made of tin, unreliable. squeak like they have training wheels, nasty ebikes utilizing 1950's tech...and they don't smell good! In fact I'm going to stop stocking...

Completely understand the desire to get a good deal and save some money, just be careful not to over shoot your savings with unfortunate repairs or reliability/customer service issues (not picking on the Aerial specifically). Pedego ebikes are virtually bullet proof with many years of customer testimonial to back it up.. Can Aerial say that? Quality customer support which many brands don't have has a definite value.

How much more than two Courts? A gallon?:) Weight does effect range, however yours does sound short for a 48v 11.5ah battery. Make sure your tires are pumped up to highest capacity..can make quite a difference.

Marathon Plus's are and have been legendary in flat prevention. Yes, it might be just another green strip of rubber in the tire but it works well with our heavier bikes and is time tested.

My best life span on an ebike Lithium battery is 6-7 years. Always charge it to 100%. I think this might be over thought concerning quality batteries with good BMS. Cheap junk batteries with minimal or no BMS however..
