Does anyone know if it's possible to add a 2nd batter to the high-bar Multicharger after it's been delivered? We may be about to order two, but we cannot afford the 2nd batter yet. So we may want to add it later, once we can afford it. Is this something that can be done?

Sorry, my experience with blutooth comms has been awful. Dropouts, battery issues, talk-to-send has lag that drops the first part of any sentence... I use wired comms and love it. Clean, does what I need it to do and stays out of the way.

I'm sure you're right @Augsburg, that connector sounds dodgy. The fact that you can't get even a grain of grit in there would be very frustrating. I'm still hung up on the awful ergonomics of that cheap button ring for the E-14 shifter though. My test rides were like being teased with a perfect...

I'm noticing on these photos above, and on the site, that the SD seems to no longer have those extended bolts on the front carrier... meaning you can't hang those stinky bottles from it any more...?

I mean I'm serious about making something, but it's not going to be soon. Many other more pressing concerns. I'll furlough this idea for a few months.

Oh, I definitely intend to print something better than the off-the-shelf nasty button the Rohloff comes with. I've even considered just wiring in a new switch to the existing button, so that no damage is done to the gear system. Don't want to violate any warranties.

You're absolutely right, a middle wall would solve the shear problem. Wish I'd thought of that. And yes, I do assume they did tests. Plenty of them.

I'm very comfortable with being told I'm being silly... I look a the new dual battery Homage, and I think to myself... They've taken a box frame section, and cut two opposite sides off... Does this not mean that instead of a box, we now have two parallel metal sheets with nothing holding back...

That "deep sea blue" or whatever just looks like night-camo to me. I'm going to have to employ reflective paint or stickers or something to negate the "please kill me in the dark" vibe this paint job has.

Sold. I was waiting for this bike. Everything I wanted from the Superdelite, but with the Homage frame. Conversations will probably be had about the suspension. After market replacements will likely be the way to go on that. Very not happy about the colour. But that's what paint's for I guess.

I wonder if some kind of reusable clip might be 3D printed. Something that behaves like these kinds of clips- but is designed to attach to the frame and be large enough to hold the stand. Since it's the kind that release the clamped object with a little force, it might be able to hold the stand...

Yeah, those "King Meter" buttons are the ones I'm talking about. Those Shimano XTR Di2 levers look great. Are they compatible with the E14?

That's the one. So cheap. Anyone know of an alternative? I'd happily pay extra.

These are the kinds of problems that trigger shifters don't have, which I guess is why those 3rd party ones I mentioned seem to use that format.

Has anyone here considered replacing the controller buttons for the E14 shifter? I find them very hard to use (normal human hand) and I want to replace mine when it arrives.

I share your opinion of the buttons for the E14. Have you given any thought to replacing them? If so, have you found anything?
