Sorry just checking back in now. Yes I was just trying to figure out why tires which are pretty similar (from a seller of bikes which are pretty similar) have such a wide variance in suggested pressure.

Interesting about the psi/bar. I usually keep my step thru at around 50 and wondered if I was way over. Suggested tire pressure It says the range for the 26x2.3 is 30-80 so I'm inline. I wonder why the range is so extreme (i.e. 20-80)?

RadRover long range configuration 60v 41.5Ah

Was that 24 hours of riding or elapsed time? I'm thinking perhaps you were referencing elapsed time after a long day of riding. I was getting about 15mph when I did my 9-5 battery burndown ride in PAS 1 at 100w. At a similar drain/speed if you rode 24 hours it would be 360 miles. Factor out the...

That's a great explaination, makes total sense. Thanks so much, appreciate your insight.

QR skewer & disk brakes claimed as a contributing factor in fatal accident involving a RadRunner

Has anybody ever heard of anyone getting injured from this before on a Rad? Can't help but wonder if the shaking and wobbling the bike was doing going down the hill was caused by dropouts that were floating before the descent. I've also never heard of an 11 year old rider (with a 12 year old on...

    "Mileage may vary"

I've been reading the advertised 25-45 miles per charge (40-70km) and have always been curious about how far a battery can go. The weekend before last I loaded up for a five day long haul. I have a City 3 I weigh about 160 pounds (73kg) I had two 40L panniers with everything but the kitchen...

QR skewer & disk brakes claimed as a contributing factor in fatal accident involving a RadRunner

Read that the other day. No idea on retrofitting but it's worth noting the father is a lawyer and went after the helmet maker too.

    Radrunner 2 PAS issue

I believe gioflowers rides throttle and I think that's why I have a different experience on hills. I am always on the pedals.

    Radrunner 2 PAS issue

Something seems off. Do you have any info on the hill? i.e. grade & elevation, or a photo?

Recommendations for child/animal trailer for RadRunner

I had a Burley Nomad too maybe 7-8 years ago. Left it outside most of the time in the direct sunlight and it dried out pretty quickly. Chucked it after a couple years.

Ah ok, gotcha now. Even on steep hills I find the effort in PAS 5 pretty nominal, but I'm curious and will do a better field test on just throttle.

Small world. I do know Ryan road and well. I spent a fair amount of time at my relatives up in Courtenay and would take an old clunker steel mountain bike and ride up it often. Quite the ordeal. The handling on big hills is a bit strange. I'm in the east now and we have some hills like that...

New RadMission Mid-Step on the way to me!

I've rigged up something like that before but find the milk crate too close to the back of the seat and a bit restrictive and uncomfortable. If I did it again I would cut out the overlapping lip on the crate behind the seat. I bought one of these and it fits really well on the rear rack and...

Ahh cool. I saw the trees and it reminded me of the family places I've visited on the coast of the island. I could actually smell the trees looking at the photos. How big are the hills? Just curious. I'm in the east but we have some doozers and I've never had an issue whatsoever.

What part of BC are you in? Curious of the size of the hills.

My nightmarish experience with Rad Power.

I hate waiting for anything. I'd find a shop or someone nearby with another unit and start hotswapping to find out the issue.
