    Creo Remote Control DIY

Ok. So you are running the Levo remote wire. Cut the Levo remote switch off. Splice on one Di2 plug for the shifter.

    Creo Remote Control DIY

Ok. Still just one di2 cable running from shifter into bike. Shifter side needs no modification. Bike side replace e-tube plug with Levo remote plug. Or do I have this backwards? Use the Levo remote wire; cut off the levo remote. solder on etube plug. Plug in to shifter?

    Creo Remote Control DIY

Ok. So if you are ok with leaving the top button of the left shifter for Garmin pages (or whatever) and using the left shifter for power up/down, you just need an e-tube cable to run from the shifter down into the bike. You then just have to change out the bike end of the e-tube by splicing on...

    Creo Remote Control DIY

On the end going into the bike unit (whatever that's called; not the shifter), why do you need a Di2 connector there? Nothing for it to plug into is there? Or does that end also have to go up into the shifter? Looks like he's only plugging one plug into the shifter...

    Creo Remote Control DIY

Oh I didn’t realize the ports on a Di2 shifter were specific. So just get 2 E-TUBE wires and splice them into a TCU plug. Not sure it is same thing but if it is just the cable would be cheaper to take plug off of: https://www.amaincycling.com/specialized-levo-fsr-cable-s194200010/p864840

    Creo Remote Control DIY

Oh wow this is a breakthrough. Please post videos or pics to illustrate. The wire into the Levo remote doesn’t look like a normal Di2 wire nor does it have a plug at the shifter (that you can simply unplug) so there’s going to be a tricky step here. I think there will also be a shifter...

Does the Garmin e-bike Remote work with Ebikemotion equipped bikes?

Same! But if I follow your logic, on an eBikemotion equipped e-bike, you ought to be able to add that Willier ANT+ conversion kit and then the Garmin remote bike would change the assist, regardless of which Garmin head unit you were using?

Does the Garmin e-bike Remote work with Ebikemotion equipped bikes?

Ok wow that's very helpful. I'm just thinking that a remote switch with real buttons up on the hood would make changing assist frequently easier than the garmin screen which i probably want showing lots of other data...

Does the Garmin e-bike Remote work with Ebikemotion equipped bikes?

That's very slick. Which bike are you on? And do you have a link to this Ebikemotion ANT+ adapter?

Does the Garmin e-bike Remote work with Ebikemotion equipped bikes?

Oh wow. Like what button on the Garmin do you press to change assist levels?

    Creo and chainring/cassette configurations

Thanks. If the 48 doesn't actually materialize I'll take you up on the 11-36. was nervous to drop that far as I currently use the 46-38 (but not the 46-40).

    Creo and chainring/cassette configurations

I ordered the 48 but is on back order. Hopefully not much longer. I also find myself not using the 40 in the rear and ideally would swap to an 11-38 but cannot find this.

Ever take your Vado off road?

Does the particular Vado model matter, like does the 5 SL (no fenders) accommodate a wider tire?

Ever take your Vado off road?

Good point. I’ve now hijacked the thread, but my LBS knows how much I absolutely love my Creo SL, and they said even though I’m an MTB newbie I will also love the Levo SL to the point where I’ll ride it in snow! Is this true?

Ever take your Vado off road?

Makes me think, if you already have a Creo, should skip Vado and got for Levo.

    Creo Remote Control DIY

I just removed the hole cover (unscrewed it) and then put black tape around the connector to cover the hole. It doesn’t look completely professional but I got over it

Ever take your Vado off road?

The Vado doesn’t have room for much more than the stock 38s though does it?

Ever take your Vado off road?

Maybe a gravel ride or some easy single track MTB riding? If so, how did that go?

What is the largest tire that will fit on a Vado SL 5.0?

I know it comes stock with 38s with 22mm internal width rims, but I can’t gauge clearance from the stock photos.

Will the Garmin wireless remote change your assist level on your Gain?

Would be nice to mount this on the inside of a brake hood and control assist level with your thumb, if this were compatible: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/545795
