HF1000 after 3k miles - thoughts and opinions

Will that same adapter work for the mechanical brakes as well? I'm thinking of upgrading to the MT5 on my front as well. Will that A-7 adapter work with the MT5?

Hyperfat 1000 Switch to Magura brake

Could one just use washers to set the distance for the rotor?

Hyperfat 1000 Switch to Magura brake

I want to switch to a 203mm front rotor and put on a matura MT-5 hydraulic brake. Does anybody know which adaptor I need to mount the MT-5 to the MOTO air fork that came with the bike?

HyperFat Accessories, Add-ons, Changes and Feedback

It works great! It makes it much more versatile in the hills and trails. I was able to climb just about everything. Most of the time when I'm on the trails I leave it in ECO and then when the climbing starts will move up the levels based on the hill length and steepness.

    Cruise Control on Hyperfat

Got it. I was hoping that I could set it at a lower speed, but once I tried above 10 mph it worked.

How to Best Charge Battery for Longest Life

I've been looking at the Luna Blue charger and would like to find out if anybody has figured out how to hook up the XT60 charger to a 4pin XLR for the HyperFat battery. I've looked at the GrinTech adapters. I've also thought about soldering it myself if needed but wanted to check to see if...

HyperFat Accessories, Add-ons, Changes and Feedback

I just changed to a different chainring to experiment with the lower gearing for mountain biking. The Shimano Tourney was about $50. I haven't taken it out in the mountains yet, but can tell you that the chain doesn't drop in the bigger ring even though it's a little farther away from the frame...

4th Gen CCS will be available with 52V battery

Chris, I live in southern Utah county and have an HF if you'd like to get a feel for how it rides power off. It's more sluggish than the CCS would be of course, but you might be interested anyway. One reason I got the HF was especially to commute in the winters.

Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

I have about 250 miles and had the LBS check and one was slightly loose. It's good to keep an eye on it though.

I worked on putting it a couple of different places and up front seemed to make the most sense. Once the bikes on I haven't tended to switch the modes very often. I'm also working on finding the right angle for the bar.

HyperFat Accessories, Add-ons, Changes and Feedback

Just got my Jones H bar riser put on with the ESI extra chunky XXL grips. Here's a couple of photos along with the chainspy2 and Brooks saddle. The RadRover full fenders worked really well in the last rain storm that we had. Stayed very dry. Now I'm just trying to decide whether a suspension...

Did you replace the whole crankset with a 42T? Where did you get the crankset?

That looks really cool. I think a local bike shop here has some experience with them. I'm going to stop in and talk to them about it. I'll let you all know what I find out.

I do plan on drilling out the rivets and putting nylon washers as a reinforcement and stainless bolts.

Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

I really am thinking about putting a double crankset on. I went up in the mountains and the 52T chainring is just way too big for long steep hills. I don't want to mess with a front derailleur and was wondering if I could just manually move the chain to either of the rings. For example I'd put...
