Not sure if the recent question about Throttle was involving only PAS, or a comment about using the Throttle as well. The way it was framed, it sounded like this person is expecting the PAS to kick in immediately once you start turning the pedals, that is dependent on the P11 setting. Unless...

Yes, to those of you having difficulty removing the battery, I have experienced this a few times because left the rubber protector plugged into the charge hole. When you try to remove the battery with this plugged in, the rubber just gets pulled in and then drags on the battery, and one too many...

The weather in this country is insane right now, Montana already got 3 feet of snow in some places!!! Hey, one of the HUGE pros for me (although I fully intend to store my bike in my basement for the winter), is being able to remove the battery and keep it inside nice and room temp! I think...

I love the battery banter going on in this thread, all good information to read through and think about. I feel lost because i have not ridden my XP in 2 days, one day mostly rain and the other I was busy. Maybe I'll test a night ride tonight! Getting cold up here in the northeast a bit..

This guy has great information in his very thorough videos, I recommend you watch all of them, especially how to determine how much battery is left from the voltage reading. Here is his new one with a 140 mile update: 140 Mile Lectric XP Update

If you watch the videos done by the small gentleman who has done updates at 60 miles and 120, he says that the battery is designed to cut out when it gets down to around 41Volts. So My method of determining battery life is to scroll into the voltage function with the mode button and see where...

So I just went outside and tested my display. #1) The Hold Mode button + Up Arrow to scroll through Max Speed, Avg Speed and normal live speed works! Seems to only be active during the ride you are one and gets wiped out each time the computer is turned off. #2) I could adjust the following...

I love the compassion for technicalities about the settings. I assure all of you, get out on the bike more, focus on the overwhelming positives including the price, and your complaints will just melt away. Road soda + Friday night lights FTW.

All this recent discuss about locking bikes up reminds me of one time back in college.... during my first year, rather than keeping my mountain bike in my room (because it was a tiny single), I stored it in the communal lounge. I used a U bar lock and locked it to a.........FOLDING METAL CHAIR...

To each his own, if you're that upset, don't let up until you get an answer that is acceptable to you. For me personally, I saw a video on their own website of an XP driving in sand and doing a skid. I tried this out the other day and the bike would literally barely budge on some deep sand by...

Yes! just confirmed that you can delete rides. I had a basic free account for a few years and only last year bought the annual subscription for $24.99 that allowed me to create my own segments so I could then see how I compared to all other bikers who have ridden on the same path segment.

Yes they do! I joined this mostly for when I am on my other normal bike and go on the bike path. I like the competitive aspect of it, albeit against people I have never met! keeps me pushing to try to go faster in some areas, of course on this bike you are really cheating :) but to have all...

It seems to me that people are nitpicking on a bike that's a fantastic rider. Perhaps if you got on the bike and put some decent miles on it, you'd find the true joy is in cruising around, getting from place to place quickly and not staring aimlessly at your digital display. Use it as a...

They are called "bar ends" and are typically used in mountain biking. They provide extra grip and leverage when you grab the ends of the bars there, not to mention that position seems naturally more comfortable than when your hands are on the flat bar position. I love them, put them on all my...

My thoughts exactly. Also, don't be super concerned with staring at your display all the time, you should be more concerned with looking ahead so you don't die! o_O

This is a good link to read about handlebar fitment. Read the part about width, obviously this bike came with shorter bars to make it more practical when folded, but wow, what a difference it makes in control...Mine are 670mm, which is way less than what is recommended below for mountain bikes...
