Extending Range on Aventon Level with Portable Power Station and Folding Solar Suitcase

I totally agree with just getting an extra battery but if the power grid goes down for who knows how long, then what solar panel set up works best?

Interested in torque as opposed to cadence.....

Looks like Vic’s in Louisville Ky has the Ariel. It’s cheaper than the Rook Surface 604 that I’m about to check out next week in Chicago.

Interested in torque as opposed to cadence.....

That looks great. I‘m going to see if there are any dealers. I sure would like to try bikes out instead of online ordering. I get apprehensive about who can fix it if something goes wrong.

I don’t think $2500 will get me a mid drive.

Interested in torque as opposed to cadence.....

I'm looking for an upright/step thru bike with torque sensor (as opposed to candence). It would be nice to keep it under $2,500. Suggestions please. Thank you.

    These bikes are too powerful!

I meant to say did you do it yourself.

So you took it to a bike shop or find that yourself? Good to know.

    These bikes are too powerful!

I don’t want to use the bike to strictly buzz around on. I want my knees pushing the pedals for exercise. I want the assistance when I’m approaching hills or if I’m on a lengthy ride I can use the extra help when I get tired. But the bikes I tried had reacted so much to one or 2 pedal cycles...

    These bikes are too powerful!

That sounds good! I will look up to see who sells them around me. I much rather try out the bike than order online.

    These bikes are too powerful!

I have only tried bikes at the bike store so far. Can you let me know the difference between a cadence bike and a torque bike? Thank you.

    These bikes are too powerful!

Maybe I should look at class 1 - no throttle bike. Just looking for not so much help with assisting unless I’m climbing a hill. In other words, not so much torque. Just maybe a 10% help on pa 1 and then slightly more on 2. I saw that you tube someone posted that showed that you could tone the...

    These bikes are too powerful!

I guess I rather get exercise than try and control the coasting. I want to try Blix. Have to take a trip to Chicago for that though. That’s ok. It’s like 1 min away from where my brother lives.

    These bikes are too powerful!

I am wanting to buy a e bike because my knees are getting worse and we have hilly areas so I just want a little help getting up those yet I want to get exercise too. I love the aventon Pace 500 because it is so comfortable but I had it at level one pa and I don't want that much assistance! I...
