    My 9.5 litre top bag is nearly 8" wide, the space between the panniers is 5". I had to smash the top case between the panniers, the backing plates on the panniers were bending from the strain. Rather than getting a wider rear rack or a narrower topcase I fashioned a riser out of unused bike...

    Found these used Panniers on eBay.

    Used, a vintage set of panniers, they look like they've never been used. Took some effort to make them work with my top case but now I'm ready to go grocery shopping....

    shifter and derailer question here...

    Thank you for the reply, but I was asking about the derailer as well, do you know if I have to change out the derailer when you change out the shifter? Thanks, David.

    Taco shop is right on foothill Boulevard as you cross the bridge. See photo I always start my ride on the Etiwanda side near the old train depot. It's mostly flat, but I enjoy the ride and the tacos.🚲🌮🌮

    shifter and derailer question here...

    I have this "radius" shifter that came with my ebike that I'm not really liking, is it required that I change out the derailer when I change out the shifter to the Shimano style shifter that I'm used to? TIA

    I think this is my first post, I signed up a while back but never did anything, there's been a lot of changes going on in my ebike journey. Initially went for a full suspension fat tire to a hard tail fat tire and now finally I think I'm dialed in with a step through fat tire. It's a newer brand...
