Giant e bike app- any experience with it?

I know this is an older thread - but just purchased a BT HR monitor (Wahoo TICKR) to use with RideControl on with iPhone (my bike is a 2019 Explore E+ 1) and while the Wahoo app and IOS Health app can see the HR monitor, the RideControl app doesn't seem to be able to find it. Would really love...

    Replacement Charger for 2018 Quick-E+?

following - interested as well - other than the potentially suspect quality of dirt cheap chargers from Alibaba, etc. … the biggest issue might be the connector which is not the standard coaxial LV connector a lot of batteries use

    BC Ferries

Hi Garry - I am not an expert on this but I believe the UN# the BC ferries individual was asking for is an identification scheme for hazardous cargo. See this link - Wiki Article on UN Numbers Specifically, "Lithium ion batteries contained in equipment including lithium ion polymer batteries"...

    Quick-E+

Here in Canada, the there is one Quick-E+ variant = 13.8 Ah -> 497 Wh, and a few Explore-E+ variants. The Explore-E+ 1 has upgraded components, fenders, rack, etc and same ~500 Wh battery. The Explore-E+ 3 uses more budget friendly components, has no fenders or racks and has a 11.3 Ah or 407...

If I’m looking at Giant Explore-E - which others should I consider ?

I’m 220#, 5’10”, 50ish and pretty out of shape. Looking to commute ~20km each way, mostly rural roads, possibly gravel trail, some hills. Likely summer / fair weather riding only and need to arrive without a sweat on ... but hoping to get some physical benefit. So far, I’ve tried my...
