    Throttle questions...

Thanks. Yes. And as I improve on being in correct gear and timing, I’m hoping I’m thinking I will better manage without throttle. But for now it’s my comfort level.

    Throttle questions...

Thanks all for your replies. I am a newbie and need to get better with the gears and assist levels no doubt. It was that I could pedal softer(slower?) with the help of throttle at times. Sorry not sure of terminology. A little break really helped the knees on a long hill. Maybe I need to...

    Throttle questions...

Was demoing a Surface 604 and an Elby recently and the LBS tech said that the throttle shouldn't be used under heavy load (as in going up hill). Was made to assist on flatter ground. He said it is too hard on the motor and will damage it. I am new to biking and not in the greatest shape...

Hello from Okanagan, BC Canada Elby????

Thanks for the advice, I tried an Elby. My husband did not like it as much as the Surface 604 Rook/ Colt, not that it matters as we will be buying 2 bikes. I didn't mind the Elby, but not sold on it.

Hello from Okanagan, BC Canada Elby????

New to e bikes, this will be our first... Considering the Elby, but understand the Bionx motor is no longer supported. Looking for a relaxed (knees forward position) bike with pedal assist with hill power and throttle. Any suggestions and comments are appreciated.

Help with first E Bike please.... Hi from the Okanagan, BC

Thanks for the reply tallpaul. Do you have any suggestions on a bike that has fat tires and more upright/relaxed position so my knees wouldn't be right under me? Also, the gravel may have potholes, but mostly packed gravel not the loose stuff on the railway I think. Thanks again.

Hi, all. First off I love this forum. So helpful. I am looking for ebikes for my husband and myself and have spent quite a bit of time reading threads here, but would still like thought from the forum. This will be our first ebike and our first bike in way too many years to discuss. We...
