Bosch - Intuvia (Walk-Assist Mode not working)

Hello Crazylegs not sure which name your bikes were purchased under or model you have but suggest reaching out to our service department to set up an appointment for us to look at your bikes as most bikes from 2018 can have the walk assist feature activated if it isn’t already.

What is your guesstimate for the cost of charging a Bosch Powerpack 500?

We hear this on occasion for some of our customers living in condo's and in some office buildings situations about the cost of electricity being used. Hearing less now that electric cars are more commonplace. Costs here are between 8.2 cents per kWh off-peak to 17.1 cents per kWh at peak. So...

Front Disc Brake not grabbing after cleaning, 1000 miles

Just a few tips that may help: Remove your brake pads and ensure that you have the recommended minimum pad thickness remaining Inspect the pads. If they look glazed, feel or look oily (contaminated) or they are worn unevenly then this would certainly be the cause of poor braking If the pads...

    Bosch motor won't power up

I would be 100% sure that the speed magnet on the spoke or brake rotor is properly aligned with the sensor if the speedometer on the display appears intermittently. Visit the Bosch Ebike website and download the PDF of the manual to see an image how to align the magnet to the speed sensor as...

    Cube reaction problems

Ask the shop to also look at the following: 1- Derailleur hanger alignment to ensure its straight 2- Verify verify limit screw. 3- Engage the clutch but if you were not riding hard it’s probably 1 or 2. This is typically the most common issue based on your comments. Keep us posted.

    Battery removal problems

When loosening don’t loosen too much to the point debris can get in. There should be little to no difference in the space between the top and bottom parts. There is a lip (almost like a labyrinth seal) so as to prevent debris from getting in.

    Easy motion battery warranty?

At the end of the day it’s up to the individual. Like anything if parts are available to fix something you’re good to go. In the case of BH Easy Motion this is not the case. Their last batch of bikes have batteries that are going on 3 + years in age now. In my opinion selling and servicing...

Good to hear you’re pleased with them. Our experience was not a positive one as a retailer to the point we had to stop selling them due to customer complaints.

As long as you are careful and loosen the screws when adjusting them and not banging them up against something they are fine and do the job nicely. Hit something or try to move them when not loose or over tighten them and the plastic will crack.

    Easy motion battery warranty?

With those bikes torque settings don’t really work as it depends on how responsive the torque sensor is. It can require a lot of trial and error and adjustments to get them dialed in.

We used to carry the Mirrcyle mirrors and the issue some riders have is that they are quite fragile. Overtighten the screws or ding it against a wall, bike rack etc... they typically crack. We would typically have about 20-30 issues per year with these. We then started carrying the B&M...

    Easy motion battery warranty?

As a previous top Easy Motion dealer, we received 0% support on anything once the announcement was made that they are pulling out of the NA market earlier in 2020. Thank god we had a lot of parts in stock to support not only our existing customers but were able to help out others in NA with...

    Battery removal problems

When we use to carry the Pegego bikes this was a common issue. As @6zfshdb said, keep the battery compartment clean. Also, the battery support casing has 2 parts and you will notice a series of screws all the way around (5-6 on each side) that attaches the top part to the bottom part. Simply...

Help with Tektro brake replacement. Now no throttle.

Try to unplug the brake cut-off switch and see if works. If it does there is a short in the line or the brake cutoff sensor will need to be adjusted. To adjust the screw that the cable goes into at the master cylinder there is a screw where you can use an 8mm or 10mm (if my memory is accurate)...

Known Issues & Problems with Bosch Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I suggest having your bike checked out by your dealer. When we hear of vibrations coming from the bike, quite often the source is coming from somewhere else and typically in the drivetrain. For your speed calibration / circumference calibration here is a basic video I put together which will...

@catzilla If your Bosch motor on your Gazelle NL is pre-2017 the walk assist feature will not work. These drive units do not have the ability to have this feature added.

Bosch Intuvia won't switch from off to eco

@Baygulls5 you want to make sure that the mount for the display is not over tightened. The 4 screws should have no more than 1Nm of torque applied. Also depending on your bike’s age you should have the software updated or check the software version currently on your bike to determine if an...
