Have a Raleigh Tamland and after a ride was charging battery. Was only down about three notches on battery measure. After about an hour charging the battery charger started to flash green. When fully charged it should be solid green . Any suggestions as to what this means.

What is the experience of taking the battery off and traveling with bike on rear mounted rack. What is done to prevent rain from getting in battery compartment and doing damage to electric contacts? Thank you
