    Rad bikes going up

Mike from RPB here... @ritestuf , I believe you likely saw messaging talking about last August's $200 price increase that were caused by the tariffs, I can confirm that there will NOT be a $200 increase coming in August. @Deleted Member 4210, I would like to clarify something you said. While we...

    Mini Confusion

@LilBigfoot It is the same motor as supplied on the USA models, with motor controllers programmed to a lower wattage.

Known Issues & Problems with Rad Power Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

@andre starr Mike from Rad Power Bikes here, I just spoke with our technical support supervisor and we went back to research your past discussions with our team to make sure we are doing everything we can to ensure your experience with Rad Power Bikes is as positive as possible and learn from...

    New full fenders

@BVC Great question! We were able to go without the little "mud flap" that is on the RadWagon and RadCity fenders since the RadRover full fenders main body are made of TPO, and can go lower to the ground without worrying as much about them being cracked by scraping up against stuff. The TPO...

Known Issues & Problems with Rad Power Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Those are great links @J.R. thanks for sharing! Just spoke with our technical support and service managers, and the only common questions they receive regarding the rear axle hardware on the RadWagon is how to re-install/arrange/what order the washers go on after being removed to change flats...

Known Issues & Problems with Rad Power Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

@Ann M. The RadWagon does not employ a lock nut on the rear axle. Instead we use a long thread acorn nut (for maximum thread engagement) and a lock washer. On the inside of the frame there is also a Torque washer. I would advise against using a Grin tech torque arm on this bike, but not for the...

    New full fenders

@Lost Big O is the company that used to be a supplier for our full coverage rover fenders. The full coverage fenders we offer now are now made in a separate manufacturing facility just outside of Seattle.

    Impressed with Rad Rover

@mrgold35 You are my hero, that has to be the best accessorizing jobs on a Rad Power Bike I have seen to-date!

Mini - Cable at rear axle

Hi @Tom899 Glad the tech support team got back to you, that spring is the normal strain relief to assist with supporting the aggressive bend the cable makes after leaving axle. The rubber cap as well as the bash guard also work to protect the cable.

What I like to see (or wish) for the 2017 Radrover

You all rock! I wish I could be on the forum more often, but it is great to see so much solid real world feedback and see the community of owners develop and work together in promoting the ebike revolution. There won't be a new RadRover in 2017 however, since we made so many enhancements to the...

    Mini Confusion

@LimboJim Bafang did not have a 750 watt stamped G06 motor until we had this change implemented by Bafang. Ever since we implemented the Bafang motor on the RadRover, it has been paired with a controller outputting 750 watts. The max torque, RPM, gear construction and housings are all identical...

    Mini Confusion

@BVC We have inventory of the V2 Rover forks, in case you want to upgrade. They are more rigid, but like all forks, still have a small amount of rock when you apply the front brake solely at speeds. It is best to apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously. Sorry for the trouble having to...

    RadWagon Accessories question

@Eric Bresnahan We have seen a number of customers adapt various alternative child carrying accessories on the back of the RadWagon, but have not seen any that fit without significant modifications, homemade adapters, DIY work. I have a DIY background, and appreciate this type of stuff but Rad...

    Mini Deraileur

@Thom473 This is totally normal for any bike out of the box, especially after a short break in period. It is recommended that you have the limits and cable tension on the derailleurs adjusted regularly, whenever shifting is not smooth or it is skipping gears. There are upper and lower limit...

    Mini Confusion

Hi @LimboJim Here are a few follow ups to your post to help better inform customers and thank and credit you for your input: - We recently added a sizing chart to the RadMini tech specs page and also changed the disk brake sizing for the front and rear disks to 180mm to reflect the correct...

Radwagon Renegerative Braking activates without engaging brakes

Hi @Barkme Wolf It sounds like this is a slightly different condition then Chris. Slip mode regen should not be coming on, but if it turns off with the application of the brakes, or the throttle momentarily, it should not be a concern.

    Motor Speed Limit on Radmini?

@Thom473 This is a great point. On my GPS with the RadMini set to a wheel size of 22 inches, I get the most accurate speed reading. The factory has started setting all the RadMini displays to 22 inches, but your bike was probably produced just before this change was put in place. Not a huge...

PAS too fast Rad Rover 2016

@BVC Correct! This is normal operation on the latest production bikes. The approximate wattage limits for each PAS mode are as follows (without any speed limiting in each mode): PAS 1: 50W PAS 2: 150W PAS 3: 350W PAS 4: 500W PAS 5: 750W Any previous generations of controllers had speed...

    RadRover pedal assist levels

Hi All, You have pretty much hit the nail on the head, there is no one-size-fits-all controller program. Here are answers to each question: 1) Does your new controller still gives you up to full 750w of power as you apply the throttle at any PAS level or does it only deliver the power at the...
