    Teo fat bike

It really depends on the incline. On flats or decline, it is comparable to a regular 30 lbs fat bike. On up hills, the 60+ lbs ebike makes it almost impossible to pedal without power. One steep incline, I would be standing on the pedal and the bike would not move, lol. Weight only really...

@america94 From my experience, the battery indicator is not linear... more like this. 5 Bars: 100% 4 Bars: 60% 3 Bars: 30% 2 Bars: 10% 1 Bar: 0% (motor can still assist at very low power, and cut out intermittently). 0 Bar: completely dead, won't start at all When by Yukon 750 was new, I would...

Very nice looking bike. How is the 17 ah battery holding out for you? Fenders look great. The front may be not long enough for your muddy conditions. I have seen some that strap onto the downtube. Not sure if they look good though. How is the front suspension? Yukon 750 is not soft...

    Teo fat bike

Wow, you are able to fit the fat bike in the trunk of you car?! Even with the front wheel removed, that must be no easy task, especially with the heavy weight. Do you do it by yourself or with help? I know I won't be able to lift my Yukon 750 into a trunk without scratching the car & bike...

    .....

This is commonly known as "walk mode". It is very useful for pushing a heavy ebike up a steep incline, stairs, etc., especially for bikes without a throttle. 4 km/hr is a good speed for this purpose.

Great stuff! I thought about a similar bag, but was afraid I would not be able to swing my leg over it. How is it working out for you? Is it difficult to mount the bike with the bag? BTW, is that a suspension seat post? Does it come standard? Regarding the mud/water, can you simply buy the...

Using a Dashcam as a Bikecam!

Since I have the Voltbike Yukon 750, I posted in the "Voltbike" forum how I successfully use an automotive dashcam as a "bikecam" for only US$75 with GPS (real-time location & speed & 1440p resolution)! This can be useful to anyone, so I thought I'd post a link here...

    New Voltbike Yukon 750 spotted

The Viofo A119+GPS is one of the best gadget on my bike, so I want to expand on it. I mused with the idea of a GoPro like many people, but it lacks the features I want. The Viofo A119+GPS has everything I want as a bikecam at a very low price. My entire "bikecam" setup with battery, mounts...

2017 - A 750 Watt bike - We want to hear your opinion

I prefer "normal" looking ebikes... something stealthy. Slim tires 2.5" or less. Something that can be mistaken as a normal bicycle. I don't want an ebike to look like an ebike, or attract too much attention. Your bikes are nice, but at the same time, quite unique looking and mostly fat...

    New Voltbike Yukon 750 spotted

I believe there are 3 variables to consider to determine the true power of the Yukon 750. We are lucky that we have access to custom settings from the LCD display: 1) The motor is "rated" up to 750w continuous without overheating. 2) The controller is rated 10 Amp continuous; 20A max. 3) The...

    Best Electric Bikes Under $1000?

At the $1,000 range, I'd recommend the Voltbike Urban for US$1,059 + $69 shipping. This is a new updated model released only a few months ago. Voltbike is a reputable company with great customer service. Court has reviewed many of their bikes, and there is a dedicated Voltbike forum here...

Visit www.teofatbike.com. They are based out of Montreal, Canada, but ships to the U.S. ($199) and Canada ($99). Their bikes are great value, considering you get hydraulic brakes and a 48v Panasonic 17ah battery, 750w motor, for US$1,492 + shipping. I don't know if they have a warehouse in...

The Latest and Greatest from Optibike, R15

A pedelec can go up to 28 mph, but you can NOT have throttle at all. If you throttle, the max speed is only 20 mph. None of that matters anyways because the motor on the Optibike is 1500W, which exceeds the 750W maximum. If Optibike is restricted to 750w and 20 mph with throttle (or 28 mph...

    Teo fat bike

My Yukon 750 head tube to seat post (when parallel to the ground) is 24 inches, FYI. I think overall, the Yukon 750 geometry is very slightly smaller then the Teo Fat Bike Model S. How is the hydraulic brakes? Those must be good. The front brakes on my Yukon 750 is not that strong. As an...

The Latest and Greatest from Optibike, R15

Wow, impressive, but at 1500W and 33mph top speed, I don't think it is classed as a bicycle anywhere. The US$13,990 price tag is also impressive.

Can you please also measure "C" when it is parallel to the ground? Thanks. Just wondering if your reach is longer than my Yukon 750, despite you having a longer wheelbase. The wheelbase on my Yukon 750 is 1180 mm (46.4 inches).

Yep, I got the "frame" mounted version. Our axle is too big to thread the "axle" version. This is the one I bought from Canadian Tire and how I installed it:

I think you have already read my Yukon 750 thread, but I'd recommend strongly that you buy a derailleur guard from Canadian Tire (or other shops) a.s.a.p. I have already bent 2 derailleur guards in 6 months. They did their job protecting the derailleur, fortunately. Due to the heavy weight of...
