Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

Sorry, I'm experiencing the same issue (no dongle connected error) and I'm not sure how to update the driver. Pushkar has mentioned this on past threads and I see it here as well but no dice. I've re-run the install and nothing. I've found the device in device manager and updating the driver...

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

Thanks, much appreciated. I do a lot of car photography (@911maniac on IG) but taking bike photos is new to me :) I agree with the previous comment on cable clutter but I don’t notice it as much in person as in the photos. I think the look of the bike is very utilitarian..:more beast than...

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

Back from vacation and I finally had the chance to take the bike for a quick spin. It is a beast and while I still need to reprogram it to dial it down, I have been able to get the hang of controlling the power better. I’m expecting this to be a low maintenance, low trouble commuter once I’m...

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

I tried to connect the programming cable after registering as well and got the same no dongle connected message. I was in a rush to head out of town so I just left the troubleshooting for another day. I wasn’t able to read or write any changes so I just plugged the cable back in to the...

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

Pushkar mentioned he had two orders going for Jeff Jones and had to be super careful to ensure we got the right bikes :) My Dad was born in Upstate NY :) What issues are you having? The only thing I’m finding so far is that the motor seems to overpower the hub easier than I expected. I didn’t...

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

The only challenge I’ve had so far is that the bike has so much power, I forget to use the 3 gears I have. I need to ensure I shift to the first gear when I’m getting started, at least on any incline. The bike has so much power that starting on a hill in the wrong gear could destroy the hub quickly.

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

I’ve never had a throttle on an ebike before so I’m not expecting to use it much, especially since my main use case is exercise. It doesn’t get in the way and I can imagine it being useful on occasion so I’m glad I left it on.

Helios to Atom to Crosstour and I’m loving it!

I never thought that replacing my aging ebike would be a two year journey but then again, I didn’t expect a pandemic and complete breakdown of global supply chains. I’m glad I found Watt Wagons, got to know Pushkar and I’m thrilled to have taken delivery of my Crosstour. Originally I placed an...

    The "UNOFFICIAL" Atom FAQ thread...

I had previously ordered a Helios but cancelled when the wait became too long. In the end, I didn’t buy anything because I’ve been working from home for so long! I’m glad I waited because the Atom seems perfect for my use and I just placed an order. I use it for a 20 mile roundtrip work commute...

Would love some advice on configuration for my upcoming UC Pro

Unless I'm wrong, the default config for the front fork is the Suntour Auron which should have enough travel for street riding. Are most of you paying $850 for the upgraded Fox shocks and if so, why?

Would love some advice on configuration for my upcoming UC Pro

My FLX order was going to be significantly delayed as they work through some frame issues they experienced on the first bikes. Something about a nut that can loosen up and lock up the hub. I expect some quality control issues with a first gen bike but between that, shipping the Rohloff hubs...

Would love some advice on configuration for my upcoming UC Pro

Hi, I've talked to Pushkar and read through all of the threads to get the collective wisdom of this forum. I could still use some help making a few config decisions. Me and my use - I'm 46, 5'10" 270lbs and I ride frequently. I use my ebike for family fun and for daily commuting (18 miles...

UC Pro Diamond frame prototype build pics. Painting / Decal / lights etc will be done in Boston.

Loving it and glad that I changed my order from a different bike to this one, Pushkar has been so responsive!

    FLX Blade 2.0

I disagree with the characterization of FLX as a distributor. That would be like calling Apple a distributor of iPhones because they are fully built, tested and shipped from China. From what I can tell, both WW and FLX have designed custom bikes to their specification and both have them built...

    FLX Blade 2.0

What I've found recently is that bikes and e-bikes are in worldwide demand to a level never before seen. Every local bike shop in my area has a multi-week delay on service and limits on the number of bikes a person can buy...they can't get enough supply. Parts are delayed, service is...

    FLX Blade 2.0

Every brand has its ambassadors and I appreciate all of the advocacy for Watt Wagons...it seems well deserved on their part. I'm looking forward to my Blade 2.0, I think it has all the things that I want from an e-bike that will see bad city street and trail use. Any other initial impressions...

    FLX Blade 2.0

UC Pro seems like it is going to be an incredible bike and the more I read about Watt Wagons the more I like how they are doing business. That being said, I'm sticking with the Blade 2.0 and will consider the stand-alone controller upgrade that WW offers if I feel the need for it down the road...

    FLX Blade 2.0

I’m hoping that the Rohloff is conservatively specced. I looked at the Biktrix Ultra Eagle but it looks like a well designed conversion with the cabling zip tied. I could get past that but I’m really curious to see how the Gates belt and Rohloff hub perform and if it can provide the smooth low...

    FLX Blade 2.0

I just placed an order for a Blade 2.0 and I’m looking forward to an August delivery assuming no more delays. I’m coming from a Specialized Turbo S that I use for a daily year round 20 mile commute in Seattle. Crappy roads and wet weather along with some big hills to start and end my commute. I...
