FS: 2020 MINT Upgraded/Unlocked Haibike Sduro Trekking 4.0

Selling my extremely upgraded Haibike Sduro Trekking 4.0 52cm step-thru ebike with only 32 miles on the odometer! This was a "lockdown project" for me, due to my love of tinkering and upgrading. It has had top of the line quad-piston Shimano hydraulic disc-brakes installed, a Kinekt suspension...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

well, it sounds like you're using the size as an excuse to keep looking for other options lol. Tire size doesn't matter - it's standover and seat height. I can tell you from first hand experience that the 700 ST will comfortably fit anyone taller than 5' and 24" inseam. Also, folding bikes...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

Just a data point - my partner is 5'2" and has the 700 ST, and EASILY fits on it. In fact, we had to raise the seat a bit for optimal positioning. Feet touch the ground easily while seated, if desired. For the life of me, I cannot imagine why you'd switch to a RadPower bike, but that's just...

Yamaha unveils new full-suspension electric mountain bike

A bit on the higher pricing side, but hopefully dealers have some wiggle room. I'd rather go with the regular Moro and pay $250 for a new paintjob if I really cared vs the 1k price differential. Tires are nicer on the Pro, but that's a personal preference.

Haibike Shift Cable on top of Chainguard

Hey all, I posted this in the Haibike subforum, but the general one seems to get more traction. Apologies for the double post. For anyone who has a Haibike, does your chain guard go over the shift cable? Mine came with the chain guard under the cable, which seems like an accident waiting to...

In my personal experience, Acera is smoother in shifting and made of better materials throughout the entire groupset.

Shift Cable on top of Chain Guard

Hey all, for anyone who has a Haibike, does your chain guard go over the shift cable? Mine came with the chain guard under the cable, which seems like an accident waiting to happen. On the Haibike site and in all "official" photos, it's underneath the guard. Just want to check before I undo...

Cost of an ebike manufactured in the USA

Biktrix Ultra Eagle is made in the US then assembled in Canada, so that's close-ish.

    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

@Lumpydog super glad to hear they made these changes! The LMT'D was going to be my first ebike, but when I saw your videos and reports, I bailed out and ended up getting a Haibike. It's always the inherent risk being the early adopter of a product, and good for you for sticking with it. Might...

Bought an Ebike from a "Popular Wisconsin Dealer"

I honestly quite like seeing everyone's different point of views on here. It's enlightening to see people from the dealer side of things, as well as others who are "regular" consumers/purchasers/enthusiasts. I think the most interesting (to me) is how vociferously some will circle the wagons...

Bought an Ebike from a "Popular Wisconsin Dealer"

Unfortunately not. I was a bit flustered at the whole situation so I backed down, which isn't like me. It all caught me all off-guard.

Bought an Ebike from a "Popular Wisconsin Dealer"

This was a thread made to review CL's service. I recommend buying local for better service, but I ultimately got my bike and it was in great shape, so all's well that ends well.

Review of Haibike Sduro Trekking 4.0

Where at? I just got one for $2700 + shipping, so $2900 OTD. Probably not the best deal around, sadly.

    Espin Nero

I've been a lurker for a long time; I've visited tons of different brand forums and threads on here, and Mike tends to disparage any company that doesn't use a dealer network. When Espin first cut their prices, he was complaining how they were selling "below invoice" and how no dealers will want...
