    Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

    Why doesn't Haibike just produce a speed pedelec, 28 mile per hour, mountain bike to begin with? Then there would not be a need for an after market in dongles. Since a throttle is not involved, it would to be in compliance with US law.

    Accident on Haibike.

    Thank you for the report. My bike does not have fenders, and I'm not likely to get any. I am sorry you were injured, and very happy that it wasn't more serious. Get better soon!

    When there's no dealer...

    No dealer nearby and don't want to roll your own? What I have learned from reading this thread, and other research, is that mid-drive and a quality brand such as Easy Motion or Haibike purchased at a steep discount from Crazy Lenny is a smart way to go.
