I have found that you get less assistance when the battery is getting low. This seems normal to me in my limited experience with ebikes. Is this others experience. Getting off on a bit of a tangent here. Sorry!

I hear the same thing, but have road 300 miles farther then last year and I have had lots of crap weather up here so far. Took my beach cruiser for a ride yesterday and it goes way faster then it used to, so I know I'm getting back into biking shape. I may end up with a analog road bike again...

Like Ahicks I turn mine off in case someone thought to take it for a ride when my back is turned. I could run them down if the bikes power is off, but could not if it is powered on.

I have a 7 speed ebike and use them all. Can help conserve battery . Sometimes I shut motor off on slight downhill to conserve battery. Sometimes I shut off motor when riding with analog bikes. Better to have them and not need then being stuck in one gear and miserable.

My Buzz weighs around 60 pounds with battery and full water bottle. Seems light to me , but anything under 80 pounds feels like a 10 pound bag of flour to me. Still working as a mason at 60 years old.

The charger that came with my bike also gets hot and has no fan. The counter I charge on also gets hot. I have started puting the charger on a coffee cup and now it doesn't get as hot with some air circulation under it.
