The XP odometer is not accurate. It likely under reports miles traveled. That might vary by Bike. If I add another ebike it will probably have torque sensing, not cadence sensing, and cost lot more . . .

For me gloves have always been key. You want something that allows the dexterity you need, but that also blocks the wind. I've seen some people cut up a 2 liter pop bottle and turn it into an effective hand wind block. But I don't ride in the cold much any more, so am not sure what is available.

New cable ends will help? I never even noticed. So much to learn :)

Perhaps that is one the reasons the derailleur gourd comes bent in from the factory?

The box mine came in was about 38x30x18. I assume I could fit back in that box, but, have not tried. It could be you need to fold the pedals and handle bars in a specific way to make it fit . . .

For me a derailleur adjustment fixed it. The noise and rubbing that is. The angle seems perhaps extreme. But it seems to work. At least on my bike. These are toy store bikes set up by amateurs. Then shipped across the ocean, then by truck. I feel I got a fun toy at a fair price :)

What would be handy is a trailer like that big enough to hold the XP

@Dan37Tz thanks for the review. My take is the XP might be better for a commuter or grocery getting bike. The Rattan is likely better for a joy ride bike. Lots of options coming on the market now:) This is a good thing!

This is getting off topic. All calculators have rounding error. All tape measures are wrong. I'm not married to this bike. edit: I never thought I owned my spouse. The thought never crossed my mind till now. I find the thought repugnant.

I do not think I've owned anything that is 100% accurate.

:) Don't buy the Lectric xp if you expect accurate odometer and speed readings. Probably do not buy one If you expect the "energy bar" to be correct. Expect a 25% error. Smile and be happy if it less than that! I do not regret buying mine

I think the assumption is once you are in the left turn lane, you plan to turn left;) All it takes is one bozo to kill me. I'd like to avoid that

Part of the reason I quit riding a bike much is because I did not trust motorists. I thought about dragging a trailer around, just so they thought there might be a baby in it. . . Maybe a fake baby trailer, with lots of lights, could be a partial solution. Probably safer to not ride a bike on...

The only signals I have used is left arm out for left turn. Left arm out and bent for right turn. I'm mostly concerned about signaling to motorists. Perhaps most of them understand none of them. So I'm wasting my time and concern. I have never ridden with a group of bikes. I assume they have...
