That makes sense. I was trying to figure out a way to gauge the recharge using the voltmeter in the display. Would like to be able to bring it up to about 75%. Hard to do, since the charger is either red or green. Wonder what voltage it switches color?

Yes, i like the walk mode for getting up short steep spots, over rocks, over logs, etc.

Maybe they have updated things. Mine comes on gradually, and you can keep it at a creep if you want.

I must say the the Lectric is the only ebike I have ridden, so I have no others to campare it with.

The throttle on mine is very gradual. I can hold it at a very slow speed, like 3 mph, as long as I'm not pedaling. One nice thing is that it shuts off the power instantly when you release it. If you start pedaling, though, it goes up to whatever PAS you are in, like 6 or 7mph in PAS1.

Don't know. I'm guessing it is a % of power, because going up slopes the speed drops.

At default settings, the pedal assist comes on smoothly as you pedal, and level 1 is about 6-7 mph. The throttle works like one on a motorcycle. The more you turn it. the faster you go. It is possible to just turn it a little, and poke along at 3-4 mph.

My concern was whether Walk mode would cause the bike to jump ahead and leave me behind. I've tried it on level ground, and it was fine.

Any tips for using walk mode to get bike over roots, rocks, etc. on trails?

OK, thanks. and it seems like I read that hitting either brake cancels it. How do you control the walk speed?

Does anyone use the "walk" mode, and any good/bad results using it?

Does the Lectric xp use a Bafang motor?
