    Cross Current

I wish I knew of the importance of rolling resistince prior to buying these. This tire feels heavy when I ride, it's well worth the lack of flats though, that as getting very frustrating. THIS is the aftermarket tire I used, Schwalbe Marathon Plus RLX 700 x 45 C Bicycle Tire, Black Wire Beaded...

    Cross Current

Overall this is still a great bike, but I am kind of frustrated with my cross current lately. Issue 1: The "fix" for my replacement 10.4 battery rattle on the frame was velcro, the previous battery had movement of cells withing the enclosure I think the cell enclosurers are a flaw in the...

    Cross Current extended battery

Is that also a 10.4? Velcro is not a suitable fix. That really pisses me off, if this is the "fix". Youth if I remember right you are also the poster that had sever rear flats, is that right? We are on the third rear flat on my girlfriends cross current. First couple were road debris the...

    Cross Current extended battery

10.4 Battery Design Flaws: Alright so I have black cross current medium frame. It is from the first production run and I had an early 10.4 battery. The first 10.4 had a rattle within the casing. Had the LBS shop order a replacement battery. Battery #2 seems to not have any loose wiggle of...

    Cross Current

Basically when the battery is locked in try and jiggle it and see if it shakes or moves. Mine wasn't real loose at first, but after a few hard commute trips it developed a rattle and ultimately the e aspect of it want working, juiced knows about it, I haven't seen it with the smaller battery and...

    Cross Current

@Itsmejson On the 10.4 make sure you check the fitment of the battery. I had issues with that and power was cutting out due to the connection I believe. The was the first production run of the cross current and I got a very early 10.4 battery. On a positive note the LBS has been great. I'm...

    Cross Current

My 10.4 ah battery cross current developed quite a rattle. Eventually I had to take the bike in for what seemed like a torque sensor issue. As it turns out it was due to a fitment issue with the battery. Juiced is aware of the issue, just wanted to leave a heads up in case anyone else...

    Help troubleshoot...assist just stops?

Small world @glassman. Mine is at rocket electrics getting repaired as well! Did you borrow an easy motion or a pedego? I have an easy motion on loan from them. I also took in my rack to see of they can outfit my cross current with the topeak explorer rack.

    Help troubleshoot...assist just stops?

That's what the Mechanic suspects on mine as well. I got a loaner from the shop! I'm excited to cruise an easy motion while they diagnose and then order a replacement part from juiced.

    Help troubleshoot...assist just stops?

Yes, I experienced the same issue today. Fortunately on a leisure ride. My girlfriend also has a cross current and experienced that issue initially, but the local shop swapped it out. Given that and the fact that you are experiencing the issue, I am thinking that this may be more than a...

    Cross Current

@Jack Tyler this is exactly the rack that I have, and I'm far from a bike expert. I didn't see how this could be outfitted at all even if you were to drill a new hole. Th erack itself doesn't seem to stretch far enough, did you happen to see what was done for that issue? Also I am not familiar...

    Cross Current

How much does the thud buster impact the ride, does it absorb enough shock to not need to use the fork suspension? Did you ride the cross current stock for a while to get a basis for comparison?

    Cross Current

My gf's cross current had an issue with he torque sensor I suspect. Essentially it reminded me of driving a manual car and shifting straight into second from a stop, it didn't operate smoothly like mine. The dealer swapped it out for a different cross current for her so I can't say for certain...

    Cross Current

My gf's arrived today so we are now a two color, two cross current, two battery range household. @Rob02150 glad you are going to get videos up. This is a sweet bike, and hit all the marks I hoped: 1) Good build quality 2)Light enough to handle 3)Capable commuter 4) can handle light trails...

    Cross Current

I experienced the "chug" for the first time this weekend as well. It was definitely a surprise, as the battery level indicator tends to fluctuate as you change assistance, speed, terrain, etc. I would imagine that is a commonality among all e bikes with the battery level fluctuation. I am...

Post a pic with the custom set up! May I ask how tall you are, my girlfriend is 5'2" and can ride my medium frame, but is hoping the small frame option comes back as it may be a better fit.
