That was what I didn't want to do! (remove the rear wheel) but should have and probably might have to do in the end to get that pesky little bolt out. Grrrr.....

Ah. I see. Now mines the 345 lite. Different front forks. The front I used the long bolt. No real problem there. I managed to get one small bolt in the top rear hole (it has no nut just a washer and I'm worried it'll vibrate loose, it's only finger tightened cos I couldn't get an Allen key...

Maybe sometime you could post close ups of how your m/guards sit??

Dusty, did they come with bolts? The rear ones. Mine just had a washer. I can't get the bloody bottom one in no matter how I try!!!!

Has anyone tried fitting the Newgen mudguards??? What a flipping nightmare the rear one is!!!!

I'm 50/50 on this, so I'm gonna say nowt since I'm not a city commuter and don't really get what these downsides are. At least the guys at Newgen are proving their worth.

The Newgen 345 does me mate. It might not meet the almighty range you have, but it's an ebike after all. In the UK it does me fine. As it seems to do everybody else who owns one. We don't tend to climb trees on them. 😉
