I just added my Turbo Vado SL 5.0 EQ (phew) on a rider with my home insurance, the Personal (Canada), valued at $7350 CDN, annual premium $185 CDN with $100 deductible. The 3rd party liability from my home insurance now covers any bike related claim.

The bike bag designers and suppliers have fallen behind on the need for good bags that fit step-through bikes. My wife uses a feed bag similar to the one shown above.

It's unfortunate that Como813 had such a bad experience. The vast majority of reviews by purchasers of the Vado SL are very positive, ecstatic in some cases. I hope other potential buyers can benefit from what has been shared here and elsewhere by satisfied SL owners and not deterred by that...
