Samething in my area. 3 shops since I started looking for an ebike. One has already closed, the one closest to my house, hates ebikes and won't work on them, can you believe that!? same Shimano gears etc. He told me "to take it back to Walmart"! The other one will only work on what they sell...

Both of my bikes with PAS 1 turned on will throttle out of the garage just sitting on the bike. Stop to close the garage door, throttle down the driveway before I start to peddle.

I am averaging 30 miles, all flat ground, PAS 3, 7th gear and I have 3 or 4 bars left. But it took a few charges to get to that point. My first couple of charges, I wondered too, but that battery does build up.

My battery took about 3-4 charges before it built up enough to go past 30 miles, now with no problem. I ride in mostly PAS 3, 7th gear. My first charge was probably less the 20 miles, but I was trying out everything all levels of PAS to gears, throttle and everything in between. That battery...

After setting PO8 to 45, in PAS 5, 7th gear with my normal cadence, not a hamster on a wheel, my speed was 26.5. I am comfortable with that. If I wanted to look like a hamster going down the road, I could probably hit 28, but why, I don't ride that way. 😊

Have the battery unlocked, push the key in to remove it. The key has to be out to remove the battery Once you have the battery out, check the phillips screws in front on the side. Some have been reported loose causing binding. Check for any other obstructions.

I have checked out most of the phone apps and that's what got me to check the City's website. None of the apps showed the 30 mile trail that goes to the Gulf of Mexico that I knew was there. Checked the City's site, not only found the map, but 66 miles of trails without having to load my bike...

Read all the battery post, thankfully I live in FL and don't have to worry about freezing. I have seen posts don't charge at high temps, well my temps are always high and I am not going to do anything different. I'll charge the bike in the garage, when the light turns green on the charge...

It depends on how you plan to use the bike. If you are just going to go down to the mail box or the clubhouse, the 300 watt ecotric with the small battery will be fine. However if you really want to ride a bike on long trial rides, not be limited to small hills, never ride into a puddle or wet...
