Yeah, thats one of the local dealers, they have a location in Austin. They do not offer any e-bike service. They don't even have the dealer diagnostics tools.
Its an early 2018. It will connect via bluetooth to the Ride Control app and tells me that it needs to be updated, but the update fails every time. I'm in Austin and the local Giant dealers don't do anything with e-bikes so that can't help.
yea, you have the updated version. They did a running change mid-way through the year. The earlier models have a different rack. Supposedly this updated rack will be available from Giant soon.
I talked with a Giant rep and was told if you have the "updated" rear rack that deck will work. But if you have the 2018 version it won't fit. Just FYI.
