Took a last ride around Booth TX today. I'll be riding around Sealy where I'm moving. This school for blacks was built in 1929. Difference between my kid time in Texas and now. The deserted rodeo area would have been busy then with local teens.

Yeah it is. About the longest bicycle chain I've seen. So far it's worked ok. I put a one speed derailleur when I installed moto and I use the 3 middle wheel sprocket and move chain to larger or smaller by hand. It was a 7 speed to start with.

Little 4' gater along the trails at BBSP. No big one out that day, but there are over 300 6'+ and many over 10' gaters in 1000 acers of water and you see them all the time. I wouldn't let a dog of any size explore the waters edge. I'll get some pictures this summer.

    Escaping th ebike restrictions

I have only been riding during weekends once at both the parks that I ride. I'm not into crowded activities and there are a lot of hikers and bike riders in my area. Park Police seem to target people doing stuff to get noticed. A 70yo fat guy doing 7mph on a tricycle doesn't seem to draw much...

    Escaping th ebike restrictions

Riding my trike is making improvements to my well being, both mentally and physically. Mostly the younger people on bikes and hiking have been real nice, and even helpful. I am never over 8 mph or so and they peddle passed me all the time. I pull over and stop if needed. I see ebikes running...

Wow, I've never had any problem on my etrike with Rangers at the state park near me. I quess if that happened with me I would peddle as far up trail as I could...and call 911 and see what happens. It cost a lot extra to make sure my motor was legal and I intend to ride it.

Now that winter trout stocking is done and while summer catfish stocking hasn't started, I can ride the bike paths and trails without dealing with the big basket. I love this thing.

Lots of rain in my area, so trails have been mostly muddy. I did get a couple of hrs riding park trails between rains, but don't know when I can get back.

I just beat the rain home. This cow has been on this fence post for 15 years that I know of.

Almost 100% of gater problems are from people feeding them, either directly or from trash/litter. We have had several removed from the rv park when they got big enough for the state to come get them. That being said, I don't let my little dog to close to the water.

Mostly they take fish being reeled in or on stringers, but otherwise leave people alone...mostly

I've never heard of anything like that happening. Been a few attacks on People or dogs in water, or people walking little dogs near water.

There are plenty of watch for gater signs also. The state park has around 300 6'+ that They know of in 1000 acers of water, so seeing big ones pretty common.

No they are metal. You see real ones in both parks sometimes, a lot of times during certain times of the year. Area has plenty.

This is in the area of some big ones. The Brazos river has lots of them. They are real thick in the Brazos Bend State Park. Great bike/hike trails that my three wheeler handles great and trails for mountain bikes that I can't. 4-5 footer in picture, but you see em much bigger ones almost yr...

As I have an e bike and love being out on it for some long rides, but then you remember about keeping an eye on your battery charge so you have enough

Thanks, I have room to go bigger, at least to 20ah. If funds are available I'll look at 52v. I keep it on, or under 15mph, but there are some long stretches of road through the state park that I ride in and more distance before heading back sounds good.

That is a really nice looking trike. Seat looks comfortable for sure.
