To the "Karens", and the "Carls" out there😂 Those riding dirty too.

To this group, they were both just wine glasses. Correct to using all senses; that is what the correct glass allows.

The glass it is served in makes a difference also. We conducted a blind cab tasting recently. Used appropriate Riedel glass and generic smaller wine glass for one test. Every person preferred the Riedel pour; the pours were out of the same bottle. The proper glass accentuates wine goodness...

    Rental cycle helmets

I would not share a helmet; no assurance of what was on the head of the last user.

Who gets underway with the motor off?

Surprizingly, to me the difference between the 63ish pound Gazelle and my 30ish pound Raleigh Hybrid is insignificant when pedaling unpowered. But I've got 290# sitting on it.

Total e-bike ban after a fatality in Key Biscayne, FLA

I speculate a mobility device wouldn't go fast enough as to be included.

I do it all the time; in general, only use power when needed. (Gazelle)

    Winter Sucks

Unfortunately we've had unseasonably warm weather the last couple of weeks (just short of 70 yesterday rather than 30s). Daffodils guessed it was time to come up (1.5 months early). I hope they don't mind the low 20s at night coming up.

Colorado’s E-Bike Rebate Program Is So Popular That It Had To Be Suspended

Although this is an Ebike forum, why shouldn't this apply to non-Es also.

    UL Certified Ebikes

A rebuilder can get their product UL certified, but it would be cost prohibitive.

    UL Certified Ebikes

Might or might not, I haven't seen the standard, but interconnects might also be part of the combination. Consider what might happen with poor wiring practices.

    UL Certified Ebikes

UL certifed can be for a product or a component. Since there is an Ebike Standard, using individual certified components isn't enough to call the ebike certified (unless the ebike standard allows it.)

    UL Certified Ebikes

I did not read the entire string, but if it hasn't been said, remember, "Built to UL Standard" is not the same as being "UL Certified.

Now I remember; still no preference.

I don't recall what it used to be, so my "no preference" is still good.

    Fulfilling a dream

We used to get free wings on Thursday (as I recall) night after 9 PM at Ground Round along with TuFer beers. And the bonus of throwing peanut shells on the floor.

    Fulfilling a dream

I just googled Amos and it is sad to see what he is going through. Although I am a supporter of food safety, I also believe, with full disclosure, people should be able to consume what they want.
