    SL 1.1 Motor Rebuild

I was reading through some of the Levo SL forums and came across a post about a chap rebuilding his 1.1 Motor. Officially Specialized state this is non serviceable, but it turns out full bearing kits are available so I picked on up. The chap with the Levo said that the sprag clutch was the...

Are Praxisworks cranks the only option for SL 1.1 motor?

Fully explains why I got a Q factor reduction when I swapped to the carbon one. Never paid much attention to the alloy ones as it was what the bike came with and never assumed they would fit the wrong ones !!! I definitely the MTB ones, surprising at 175mm. You shape and the carbons will be...

Are Praxisworks cranks the only option for SL 1.1 motor?

The alloy swoop out cranks are definitely wider and I noticed the difference immediately as soon as I pedaled the bike. Praxis are assuming you have the same shaped cranks as the carbons, but if you have the swoop, then non swoop alloy ones will bring in the Q factor. Moving the cleats does...

    48t 104bcd chainring for Vado

Garbaruk are quality. I have had one of their chainrings on my Creo for the last 4000 miles, with zero issues and zero chain drops. The ring is still in excellent condition. They are also less then half the weight of the Praxis ring. I can completely recommend them

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

Yea I guess that is the average....don't want to be that rider that gets 5 miles from the battery....... Having the Di2 hack on the bars does really help with range as so much easy to swap and save those electricities.....lol

Now that is how to enjoy a bike Wild Paul. I hope to join your ranks soon when the Creo 2 is available in the UK in Nov / Dec. Still got my Creo 1 to enjoy until then.

Are Praxisworks cranks the only option for SL 1.1 motor?

Well looking at Praxis website, my alloy arms do not match what they are showing. Mine have the wider MTB swoop and that is why I noticed the different. These are what the bike came with, so had the wrong crank arms fitted from new as these are clearly MTB ones.

Are Praxisworks cranks the only option for SL 1.1 motor?

Here is my swapped crank with carbon fitted and alloy laid next to it. How can these be the same Q factor?

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

From what I have seen on the range quoted on the TQ bikes (BMC and Pinerello), they both quote 60 miles. Thought that seemed well short on the Creo 1 80 miles. I can get up to 100 mile from mine in eco.

How to find replacement Creo crank arms?

I have the Praxis M30 175mm carbon and they did feel narrow to me as soon as I fitted them. As you will see in the photo, I have laid the alloy one next to the fixed in place carbon and the alloy does go further out

You are right Stefan. I ride mainly road with a bit of gravel on occasions. For riding where I need a dropper, I have my MTB for that. My Creo is primarily a comfy distance road bike

    specialized creo 2

Both the Creo and the Creo 2 serve a specific part of the market. I loved the original Creo for the fact I could use it as a road bike (on some of the terrible UK backroads!!) and it offered level of comfort with the futureshock and I swapped to Ergon CF3 seatpost, that no other bike could...

    specialized creo 2

I was reading about this on another forum. Where they state the BB will be too low, there are bikes on the market such as Cervelo that have an equally low BB. Will likely mean tall riders like me using 175mm cranks will have to watch out for crank strike, but I have not done that in many many...

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

I see no reason it will not fit. It looks like a standard derailleur hanger and I swapping to full GRX Di2 that is fitted to my current Creo. I have the Di2 hack for the Power setting and have worked out how I can get this to work with Mastermind TCU. This will really clean up the front end...

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

What I like about the Creo is the futureshock to give that extra comfort. No other road ebike has that option, which is why I will stick to Creo. I replaced my seatpost with a Ergon CF3 split carbon and this bike is now really damn comfy....

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

Anybody noticed that the shots on Specialized website have been altered? Many of the photos show the remote wires missing, as it is a complete birds nest with 5 wire the the bars

Today was supposed to be new Creo announcement day!

I would have 2 sets of wheels, so could swap back to Gravel when need. Would not use the dropper, so will still be a good gravel bike when needed
