    Thank you very much. I have only been in Spain once and was stuck in an industrial plant! If I can get back there, I will see if I can bike out that way. Now for a really stupid question...are the transformers(voltages, plugs, etc.) different from those in the U.S.? Might be easier for us to rent rather than transport our machines. Thanks.

    Hi Alvin, the official voltage for the UK and Ireland (and the rest of Europe) is 230 with most electrical goods operating at around the 220 – 240 volt mark. All of Europe operates on the same 2 round pronged outlets except for the UK and Ireland that operates on its own unique 3 flat rectangle pronged outlets

    Thanks! Last time over, I saw outlets that were very different from the U.S. but I didn't have time to look closely. Way, way back, I was in Aubervilliers for 2 weeks and admit that I was afraid of electrocuting myself so I didn't have the nerve to touch even the TV plugs. Best luck staying clear of the virus.
