    Been to CA a bunch. I think FL is better, except maybe northern CA. Eastern edge is very expensive and crowded. Big difference...before jumping into your pool you look very carefully for gators. Never go barefooted in the yard due to snakes and fire ants. No such thing as serious mountain biking. Lots of fat tire stuff in the sand. Good luck if you head out that way.

    Honestly, my family has driven through there exactly once. I didn't even stop for fuel. I understand that it is a pretty nice place to live except for the short time during and around the races. But all places are often like that. Sorry to be no more help.
