I'm 44, so not young either! The Performance Line is better suited for road use compared to the CX.
The design of the current CX is for pure hard MTB use and is optimized for that.
Unfortunately marketing war has pushed many manufacturers and most models use the CX.

You will miss nothing on the road, on country roads, etc with the Performance motor.

I don't know how to thank you for your advice. They made me happy.
But I know that now Bosch Performance is only the 3rd generation.
Do you know if Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 2021 is a new motor or it is old from 2019?

Can you tell me dispassionately if you like the Cube or do you prefer another brand, with the same budget?
I'd just like to buy only an equipped e-bike (with mudguards).
Thank you again one.

Can I chime in? Adriano said "steep hills". That might mean the need for the CX, right? Skritikos, you live in a hilly country too? I would go with the Gen 4 myself.
And, skritikos, at 44 you are a very young person here :)

Stefan, I'm sorry but I don't remember writing "steep hills". But maybe I was wrong. Now I explain you precisely. I use the e-bike on fairly bumpy city streets with continuous ups and downs, dirt roads in the countryside, and sometimes I do a light off-road (but rarely).
