Source for Magura Motor Cutout Switch

throttle locked at a set speed
Several years ago a guy in Manitoba invented zip tie cruise control. He would have his bike at full speed and rely on the cutouts. I asked if a zip tie is less Hee Haw than duct tape. Then he disappeared. When I want to slow I stop pedaling. I recently installed two sets of hydro upgrades from mechanical. I first sent the customers to the local eBike store to get a quote on Maguras: $740. Without cutouts I was able to do it for $85 in parts and $150 labor through frame for quads.

The price of bike parts I often find ridiculous.

I'm finding the same goes with anything geared towards the elderly.

That's all I have to say about that . . .

This thread got me thinking when I couldn't find the sensor on the TRP/Tektro website. So I contacted them to ask if they carried them and after confirmation of my hardware, this is the reply I received.

Hello John,

Yes, that sensor will work for your Dorado brakes. We will get a sensor in the mail today for you. What is your shipping address.

Thank you,
