I had to get a new drum as the pawls aren't sold individually. Plus, I ordered an upgrade. DT Swiss HG Ratchet LN Upgrade Frhub Kit 18t Ratchet Kit, Shimano HG, Aluminum Waiting for delivery today and I'll let everyone know how it went. Thanks again.

Yes, its very solid. When I spin the sprocket in reverse, should there be a slight metal on metal sound?

Could be the reason but not sure.

I'll replace the pawls however, are they universal for a sram 9sprocket cassette? Newbie here so be gentle.😀

I just removed the wheel but don't have the special tools needed to disassemble the hub/cassette.
