Last year while looking at the ST2 I was told the battery was a cooperation with Tesla. I don't see it in the official announcements but as a brand ambassador for the brand I can ask the right person.

I'd add an unexpected heavy pedaling when starting the bike on the fly. It feels like driving with the brake on and one can notice that immediately. The only remedy is to stop, turn the power off and back on BEFORE resuming pedaling. The bike is heavy (64lb plus the city kit), but is very well...

Now the best part - touch screen on the top tube. It acts like an equalizer. You can adjust power/range ratio on the go, plus quite a few really cool things. The introduction of ST2 is like the first Iphone. People will have to have it no matter what.

The ST2 has larger battery and the door is on the left hand side to accommodate its larger size (hence greater range).
