Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

Yes, I was contemplating a C380. But one neighbor loaned me his old (2011?) Faraday while they were away for the month of October. That gave me a chance to ride around town and see if my bike riding skills are up to the task. I learned a lot. I am 80 years old. My balance is not what it used to...

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

I am little confused. In some comments, you and others talk about reducing the tire pressure to get better traction and a softer ride. Here you are saying I should be "pretty fussy" about keeping the tire pressure up. Can you clarify? I'd just take it to a LBS and have them do it. The bike I...

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

Thanks, Stefan. Your comments are very helpful to me as I try to get my head around all of the technology, jargon, and options.

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

It looks like these use replaceable batteries rather than batteries that can be recharged, usually via USB-C. Is that correct?

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

I am trying to figure out what that is. The nerd in me has a difficult time liking something that it doesn't understand to at least 5 decimal places. 🤔🤨🤔🤨😒🤔 Are you saying your tubeless tires plus some sealant have kept you puncture free? Is this the sealant? Stan's Sealant Does is gum up...

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

I have been looking up specs for various pumps. Some report the battery capacity as "5,000 mAh". Others report it as "2,500*3 mAh". Should it make any difference to me whether a pump has one 7.500 mAh battery or 3 2,500 mAh batteries? Thanks

Do you have a link to where you bought it? I only found it on eBay, which I don't trust.

Do cell phone holders damage phones?

A couple of comments. Keeper Loop. This is an excellent feature. I am surprised none of the [hone mounts have one. Battery Life. We frequently drive 160 miles to visit with the grandkids. There are half a dozen alternate routes involving combinations of half a dozen freeways. Before we start, I...

Do cell phone holders damage phones?

That's a good point. When I am driving the car, I have my driving glasses on. So far, I have not worn them while biking. I better check whether I can even read the screen while biking. Leaving the phone in my pocket and listening to the directions on my headphones is probably the best solution...

Do cell phone holders damage phones?

I agree that signatures are a mixed blessing, but I had been scolded for not providing information about my bike. Now that you mention it, I think it might be more helpful if it was displayed on the left under my name & avatar.

Do cell phone holders damage phones?

So there is no way for signatures to be attached to posts? Isn't that what signatures are for? There are a few details of the way this forum works that could be better.

Do cell phone holders damage phones?

How so? I asked if phone holders like that one really can damage a phone due to vibration. I edited my signature to provide information about my bike, but it is not being appended to any of my posts like it is all of the other forums I follow. Then I noticed that none of the posters, including...
