This controller is fully sealed and out in the airflow, it won’t overheat. It’s bigger than the stock controller so won’t fit in the downtube and is MUCH better the the stock controller—more power, better PAS, simpler wiring, color display, USB port on display, etc. 28 MPH on level ground...

I have a 1.0 XP and it does NOT use a bolt through-axel design. I've never seen a 2.0 step-thru in person but I highly doubt that there would be a "bolt through-axel" on a hub motor. That being said, see here.

That's interesting. I've had the controller cut the power to the motor when my battery was really low but I've never had it totally shut down. My battery at the time was really low and only occurred with extended throttle use. I haven't done it yet, but I'm considering modifying C4 from 4...

ALL the connector ends on this controller are “waterproof.” ALL wires leaving this controller are gel sealed. ALL openings to this controller have a rubber gasket. While I wouldn’t suggest immersing it in water, for all practical purposes, it’s “waterproof.”

Actually I AM! I am using the standard KT controller light output. This is why I have inserted the 1amp fuse to prevent the light/horn from pulling too much current. After power on, I use the UP arrow to turn on the light, I can then turn them off/on via the light/horn switch. The KT light...
