Like mopeds to be precise (not allowed on highways). But now you can take your 15 mph 250W limited electric "moped" on let's say a single lane 45 mph road, occupy the whole lane just like the law requires mopeds to do and piss the drivers off.

Yes, this is not Bafang controller. This is VESC based high performance controller with more power and opportunity to use higher voltage for Bafang M620 motor. I do not know if it is for CANbus or UART version of Bafang M620 though. Maybe it works with both. It also has a dedicated website...

I am fine with the rotary shifter. It has some freeplay but it works and you do not need to deal with oil so it is easier to install and maintain than Kindernay shifter (besides the cable lines are more rigid than hydraulic lines and require more careful routing and avoiding sharp turns).
