    Dreaded Pink Flashing Light

Great stuff. Glad it's back in business. I'm pretty sure the eagerness for us to get going sometimes causes the issues. The instructions that came with mine were pretty sketchy. The fact there appears to be secret button combos and the timing of presses can be critical, perhaps allows us to...

    Dreaded Pink Flashing Light

Try this link, it has reset procedure. It also mentions pairing the app to the bike and leaving it on until the battery is empty under battery recalibration https://www.ebikemotion.com/web/faq/

    Dreaded Pink Flashing Light

I have Had similar issues from time to time. The reset process has fortunately worked for me. After I switch on, I hold down the I-woc button for 30 seconds. This has cleared the issue for me in the past. Hope it helps but mine is a 2019 model.

Is anything new with Orbea Gain 2020?

I had an email too. I presume it covered the upcoming 2021 model Range. I have a 2019 and for 2020 they introduced ant+ to the system. They also inclided a cyclying computer on the bars that also enabled you to move up and down the assistance levels, rather than cycling through them. The iwok...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

Done 500 miles so far in them, work well at low pressure about 80psi but have them 90 to 95 just in an effort to help me keep up with daughter who forgets its all me over 15.5mph. I will let everyone know how they hold up, but they actually feel tacky to touch so not expecting miracles. That...

Orbea Gain M20i Review and Video

OK, so I also had the same issue with the rear caliper too. Nailed it down to the brakes on mine due to the noise happening at the same points in the rotation, it was if the disc was slightly warped, though it appeared to run true to the naked eye. Sound was a scuff when rotated by hand but a...

Orbea Gain M20i Review and Video

Great video, great views. I am pretty sure the squeak from the front is the pads just catching the disc. Mine did this from new and took me a while to adjust out completely. Still returns occasionally after a heavy breaking session. As pads wear you get more clearance, though the brake pistons...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

My M30 uk 2019 model came with mavic aksium ust rims, yuksion tubless tyres, but had innertubes fitted. I had several early punctures and had great difficulty removing the tyres, even greater difficulty getting them back on. The use of tyre levers and brute force broke several levers on trapped...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

My average speed on a ride when i classed my self as fit, but not an athlete by any means was 14mph give or take dependin on route, time of year, weather and number of rides in the past few days etc. Now I have it I can surpass this average on a uk 15.5mph version reletivly easily. However my...

    New Orbea Gain M20i

Ooh thats bad luck. I don't think the free...or not so freewheel is anything you can fix. Its a trait I suspect. It may have something to do with the ring of magnets or something internal in the motor. I gave the hub drowning in lube in the falorn hope it would improve to no avail. As I said...

    New Orbea Gain M20i

I have the same thing with mine, the freewheel is not like that of a traditional bike, as you say it has a lot of resistance. Its not really noticable on the road, coasting on the flat, you will slow down quicker than a companion on a bike without a hub motor. Freewheeling down a hill you will...

    Tubeless tyres

I have to say my switch to clincher was due purely paranoia, due to the extreme dificulty I had when having to refit the tubeless tyres, I can't see what problems the Continental GP 5000 clincher with innertube (recommended by a serious cycling friend) will pose on the Mavic ust rim, as they...

    Tubeless tyres

I had similar issues. M30 with mavic aksium rims and yksion tubles tyres, but innertubes fitted!!! I had a rusty old tack puncture my tyre and the shaft of the tack ended up rattling around inside. I only realised tubes were fitted when removing the tyre. I had a hell of a job remounting the...

    Orbea Gain Assembly

Hi Yungleen, I recieved my Carbon M30 gain though the post last month and last November I also had a Carbon Merlin Cordite delivered in the same fashion. Both bikes were almost identical in the way I had to build them. Basically they were built and PDI'd in store, including gear set up. Handle...

    Gain D40 - No power

Hi Gmac, sorry it was of no use, I'm no expert and just reeling off the various anomalies I've suffered or come across on the forums. I dont think the experts will have much of a clue if the app is not showing a fault code they can follow. Heres hoping its a quick fix or a straight forward...
