Congrats on the beautiful bike! May I ask, can you ride in PAS 0 and just feather the throttle to your liking? If so, what is the max speed in this mode? (i.e. does the throttle give you the same power as Race Mode would?) thanks!
It's weird that I cant find a single review for that Luna SF City bike. It looks like a really good deal, except is it really running at 1500W?!?
If so, seems a little mad to have rim brakes! :eek:
I'll make a separate thread in the appropriate forum, but it looks like the overwhelming advice is it's better to sell this to a current IZIP owner, so I'll go ahead and do that. This is a virtually new battery (less than 10 miles on it--my original battery conked out after 2 years and I bought...
Well, my IZIP Dash just got stolen (there goes $3,000 :( )
I can't afford another beautiful bike like this, so I'm currently investigating if it's worth it to try to repurpose my (brand-new) battery with a BBS02 DIY kit and a cheapo donor bike
If I can't make that work (I have no DIY skills...
Hi All,
So my lovely IZIP E3 Dash just got stolen :(
I was thinking of getting the REI Novara Gotham because of the Gates Carbon Belt Drive + Nuvinci N360 CV transmission, and eventually converting it one day (when I have a house and a garage to protect the bike!)
My question is, I still have...
@CurrieTech
I'm in the San Fernando Valley, and I've been waiting for my Dash BB replacement to arrive at the Northridge REI for over a week--anything you could do would be greatly appreciated--I'm starting to lose my bike legs :(
I've read this whole thread but I don't know much about how bikes work: could anyone tell me exactly what I need to get Body Float installed on a 2014 IZIP E3 Dash?
Thanks!
Love the Dash on flat and flat-ish roads, but it's not strong enough to get me up my local hill.
(it rises 90 feet in 0.5 miles--my geometry skills are failing me :) )
Sounds like this might be the case, because it first happened while going very fast down a very steep and bouncy urban hill
Thanks for the reply! Taking it to REI (seller) now for the inspection, as suggested
