Does anyone have suggestions for a better battery?

Hailong is a case, not a battery brand. No need for 52V 48V 21700 cells and as much Ah as you can afford. I have another EM3ev battery that is really incredible, Who has 35 Ah in a small case as you suggest? Good land, who are these "battery experts"?

    Slightly losing mind; 30H error

Aostirmotor? Seems to be a bafang motor. See kevinmccune post in another thread. https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/aostirmotor-s-07.55064/ Error 30: Points to a communication error between the controller and other components. I'd replace wiring/harness. There may be more than a...

Electric Bike Battery Repair & Repacking

Looks like it's still vaporware, but if your good work survives the liability insurance better be high. The typical user will find many pitfalls. Simple errors can be disasters. However if they ever hit the open market and the fire proof is real, I'll own one. That said I still would worry about...

    KITS VS TURNKEY (NEW!)

BTW A 35 mile battery if riding at 10-12MPH. A nice little build. Enough for many, but not what many of us riding an eBike need. I have a very similar build and it's great for the bike path. However my eBike that's used in traffic and as primary transport has FAR more power and far more range...

PSA: warning about Juiced G2 battery casing

Please, pictures add interest, but having to scroll through pictures, LARGE pictures of spray cans, are of no value IMO.

    carrying extra battery(s)

Go to a custom bike pack maker. There are any number of great sources. Best quality nylon water proof lined with the best 1"-2" foam, and a Nomex sock. Anal retentive like me would add a sock layer made of ceramic cloth. And BYU! But your wallet done been robbed!

PSA: warning about Juiced G2 battery casing

Well it's been the subject of Milspec testing and it's reliable on avionics. My can is 10 years old. You use VERY little and still appears to be doing the job. Officially, "ACF-50 Anti-Corrosion Formula has a shelf life of two years from the date of manufacture. To maintain its effectiveness...

The Future of eBikes: How Fast is Too Fast?

I was riding first version BBSHD kits in the mid 30's, 33-36 MPH nearly a decade ago now. The problem for me was the braking with available gear. My beastly 9 Continent will run as a one speed 0-30MPH all day... Feed it 60V, add some Amps, stator aide and fins.... Nothing new or to worry about...

PSA: warning about Juiced G2 battery casing

Very good of you to post with pictures. MOST ebikes use the same or very similar designs and potential issues. I fear this is far more critical than one isolated case with a single builder. Every battery I ever sold could be an issues with mediocre maintenance, and frankly by the markets...

PSA: warning about Juiced G2 battery casing

ACF-50 will last up to 12 months. On more exposed areas retreat as necessary. ECONOMICAL - 95% Product - little goes a long way - lasts ages. SAFE TO USE ANYWHERE ON THE BIKE (but go easy on the callipers due to the obvious need to avoid the brake discs & pads!) HOW IT WORKS: ACF-50...
