Motor tuning modes in new Specialized app

BEST EXPLANATION YET! A thousand thanks. But whoever designed that part of the interface really ought…—well I’ll stop there. 🙀

Oh, of course! What was I thinking? Bike brain fade…🤣

Motor tuning modes in new Specialized app

Frankly I still find that section very confusing! In their animation they show Universal, Battery Friendly, and Racing--and they show single dots for Eco, Trail, and Turbo moving around as the 3 aforementioned tabs are alternating. But as we know, each mode has two settings, Ease and...

Motor tuning modes in new Specialized app

Thank you very much Stefan! Now I finally found the series of usage guides for the new app on the Specialized site--https://support.specialized.com/kb/sp_en-us/browse/202300000002310/Using-the-app. Seems they only just added all those articles on June 24 this year. It would be nice if they had...

Motor tuning modes in new Specialized app

It’s my understanding that SMART mode no longer exists since Mission Control was retired in favor of the new app. Also gone are sliders for “Acceleration Response” and “Shuttle.” Is that correct?

    Understanding Micro-Tune a little better

So I could mess with my wife by turning her bike’s ECO into full TURBO, TURBO into mild ECO, and TRAIL into no assist at all! 🤣

NBD Here is my Specialized Turbo Tero X 6.0

Also, can someone tell me how easy or difficult it would be to temporarily remove both the front and rear femders and racks/support rod? Ihave a Tero X 6.0 on order with my LBS. [I hate the deadly dull black of the bike but did not want to wait until January/February 2025 for the new Gloss Deep...

    Vado 4.0 Sale Price

Not for the dealers--there is a lot of squeeze and anytime you consider a boutique retail business (costly products, service staff, not a continuous flow of wealthy people/purchases) there is high overhead for staff, space, insurance, advertising, etc. Best dealer margins are on the clothing...

    Vado 4.0 Sale Price

It is interesting to observe just how much price flexibility Specialized has. In that for a given model lineup, all the models (at least of the same material, aluminum or carbon) use exactly the same frame. So the $10,000 Turbo Levo Expert T-Type has the same frame as the Turbo Levo Base...

    Vado 4.0 Sale Price

Yes, $2,749 is a crazy-great price for Vado 4.0. That’s why I have a deposit on one for my wife. Heck, just a replacement 700wH battery for the bike is $1,400 list price. Best part for me is that the low price is allowing me to “get away” with spending $6,500 for a Tero X 6.0 for myself! ;)...

    Vado 4.0 Sale Price

Reporting back with disappointing news: The Spesh rep just got back to my LBS and said that the new Deep Lake Metallic color for Tero X 6.0 is not going to be available until January/February 2025. Not going to wait that long! Does anyone here know of a company similar to RideWrap...

    Vado 4.0 Sale Price

I can certainly tell there will be inner bar ends in my future... :D Thanks for that info. Yeah, I'll be looking at new flat shoes also--since my expensive Garneau mountain/road shoes are for SPD cleats. (Those Adidas look nice, but as usual, the Spesh shoes are truly ugly. Does nobody at...

    Vado 4.0 Sale Price

Hi Ben: Thanks so much for your messages. Yes, the shock of modern MTB bar width. Here's a pic of my beloved 1987 Wicked Fat Chance (yes, I have been riding this bike for for 37 years; recently restored it a bit more; before that I rode my road race bike on fire roads--42/28 low gear, that's...
