Incorrect. Bosch makes a range of full power drive units from 40Nm/586w/340% assist to 100Nm/780w/400% assist. That should cover the range of riders from "weak" to "winner".

It could have very well have been punctured tires, having nothing to do with the wheel. So was anyone using tire liners or foam inserts to minimize flats? I'd be very surprised if anyone did, because they are slow. That's my point.
BTW, a cracked carbon rim on a tubeless wheel may not seal well...
